Is time real? We obviously experience past, present, future, but is it truely flowing.

Do events pass from one into another. Or is everything occuring simultaneously?

Some physicists seem to think time is an illusion, others are not as convinced.

This is for me one of the fun areas of physics because it touches on the science itself of course, but also metaphysics and philosophy.

I sense a lot of confusion here,
    anyone want to help ?

We don't experience what is past, those are memories in your mind, you're experiencing your memory.
The `presense` is gone before we know it's here, it becomes a memory, that one can experience.
The future is purely imaginary prophesies of what one would think could happen, maybe !!
the only thing flowing is the cosmos within the space of whatever is out there, maybe your `gods`

Everything is moving, expanding they say, but...into what...into what ?? Referenced to what ??
There is no `time` apart from mass motion !

I've yet to hear any cogent argument that time is an illusion.
    However, it's complicated.

Ahhh...that illusion of `time` evading us while trying to catch up with it.
But, time is still there, I feel like we are moving, not `time`.
But, move we must, goodbye `time`.

Time is certainly as real as anything else in this world of illusion. What Carlo Rovelli called “the restless movement which troubles the world”, is intrinsic to every function of the natural world - not one feature of which is fixed or unchanging.

What may be illusory, is our linear perception of time, it’s unidirectional progression. This conception is supported by the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics, which states that entropy always increases in a closed system. But in a state of thermal equilibrium, entropy does not increase and time has no direction.

Entropy here is a function of perception. As the universe moves from a condition of low to high entropy, we observe the material world becoming less ordered, less particular; things fall apart, in other words. Or so it appears, but appearances are defined by those variables, that information, which we the observer, have access to. And we see only a little- a broader perspective, a God’s eye view, might tell a different story.

`Time` is something that we move through, it just sits there in the past.

Time depends on a human existing theorising about it.

We experience aging. So we give age a count that increases the number to our death.

Meanwhile the sun is man's theory time beginning on earth by gas burning activation.

O the earth moves by a counted human cycle. So it's placement shifts.

The sun light owner shifts it's mass by consuming into left over dark light owning no alight substance.

What humans claim is lights travel by their timed applied counting as a conscious precept proven false by bio age not owning light. We are supported by its Constance.

Creation owns light not counted. So our consciousness quotes no time actually. By the experience.

And yet...there is no `now`, it sits there with a fading image of the `time` that was, ahhh...prophesy to be.

    We move, `time` doesn't !

    `Everything` is memory, isn't it ?

In my eyes...you're describing humans being the receivers of the light, from the Sun. And we revolve into the Sun's light ?

We are the receivers of new `now`'s, and the `now` doesn't change ? That means we are trapped in our memories,

memories of the revolving Earth's lighting and darkening to our reception of the light.

Is the `time` still, in space, as we move ? I'm trying here...can you try again ?

Entropy proves the arrow of time is real.

Entropy, in another meaning...from the Earth comes Life whence death and return to Earth again.

Stuff..Life..death..stuff ...the `bush` of existence, that we go `round about, forever.

"Now" is where I choose to place my attention currently, a transitory phase of being between then and later. Right now it's RF.

The past is history, the future a mystery, there is only the Present/presence, and what a gift it is.

To those subjugated by it's effects, I'm sure.
