or relative. Thus the present always exists for every observer and the future/past is always in relation to some otherness?

Vague and insufficient to justify time is an illusion. . . . or relative? Needs more explanation.

Time may be an illusion, but entropy is not. And neither are the limitations of physics.

is that because chaos, or formless, idealistic things are easier and more natural as a potential than trying to control things in a physical image and maintain that shape as an actual?

hey Fool,
The `universe` is never gone, the Cosmos is forever !
The `now` just disappears, and the next one is kissing your cheek as we write !

time is a measurement
a quotient
numbers on a chalkboard and nothing more

it is NOT a substance OR as force

it is indeed....an illusion
it's all in your head

now if you want to say movement is real......ok
and the space in between your starting point and your end point .......ok
and the flex of gravity and acceleration are there......ok

but time is just a means of understanding
in the form of numbers.....

in our heads

No one knows. Perhaps no one ever will.

so.....another possible slap in the face.....

once we turn loose of the mortal coil.....
time doesn't mean a damn thing

we enter into our dreams and share them with any other passing by

for the rest of eternity
we move between one thought and desire to another
and share the event with anyone who wants to join in

with 7billion copies of a learning device o this planet
and so many passing on at any given moment.....

I expect to be busy for a VERY long ..............time

Time is a dimension, yes.

it is indeed....an illusion
it's all in your head
Well, I wouldn't say that. "In your head" is an illusion.

now if you want to say movement is real......ok
and the space in between your starting point and your end point .......ok
and the flex of gravity and acceleration are there......ok

but time is just a means of understanding

in our heads
Movement is real.
