20 lbs. She has a nice buzz to calm you while she is massaging your shoulders.

The perfect size... I grew up with a 20+ pounder... she 'buzzed', too(though sometimes you got a little drool with your massage).

If your back pain is chronic, try to find a good physio - ask people you know for recommendations perhaps. I used to see a sports physio for recurring muscle spasms that were due to an old injury; basically the muscles in my lumber region went into spasm to protect the spine when something - usually some sharp movement or skeletal stress - happened to remind my body of the injury.

This guy, who worked with a lot of rugby players, was able to diagnose me straight away due to my posture; an hour later I walked out of his surgery feeling lighter than I’d done for months. He had magic hands, but he retired, unfortunately; I’ve seen other physios since, and haven’t needed one for a while (touch wood) but he was different class.

One other thing I learned the hard way is, when the pain goes away, keep doing the exercises the physio gives you.
