Honestly, I'd think you'd fall asleep first. Having tried to meditate before I have neither the focus nor physical endurance for it. Plus, well before 24 hours, you will likely need food, water, or bathroom breaks.

I have been meditating most of the time from Midnight yesterday until now :) The hour or so i did not meditate was dedicated to Dharma study :) I ended the meditation but still with my eyes open now am in a form of meditative state normally for me that last an hour or so after i end sitting meditation :)
This time i meditated about 19-20 hours within 24 hours

What position do you use when meditating, and do you have problems with numbness or circulation?

I use what is called Lotus position and also walking meditation, But this time i used the lotus position (this position do have other names too).
When i sit as long as now i do not feel my body at all, I know i am aware of everything around me but it feels like i do not have a body. Only the breath is in focus. or sometimes i use a mantra similar to Buddho.
