vomitorium
Some types....
- Decry the danger of vaccines, but without comparing
the relative danger of disease. This belies intent behind
furnishing dubious &/or partial info.
- Argue against vaccination generally.
- Refuse vaccination for dubious reasons.
There could be more.
I thought of those.
Your example appears below the threshold.
I don't elect our government. But you Yanks have been ruling yourselves since the British left, so you only have yourselves to blame, right?
You elect the government, so it's silly to be "anti-government", right?
It's very unhealthy for teeth, esophagus, & who knows what else. Why? It's just an entrance/exit
Might be.So if someine has had all the vaccines throughout their life but not the covid one, are they an anti-vaxer?
??? Do you actually know what a vomitorium is/was... Or do you believe the misconception? It's very unhealthy for teeth, esophagus, & who knows what else.
I don't elect our government.
I'm just a voter who knows his vote has no effect.
In the context of my post about nasty things Roman....??? Do you actually know what a vomitorium is/was... Or do you believe the misconception?

You're welcome to "whinge" if you want.Join the club. But it's pointless to whinge about being "anti-government".
In the context of my post about nasty things Roman....
https://www.wordnik.com/words/vomitorium
- noun An area in which vomiting takes place, in particular a chamber supposedly used by ancient Romans to vomit during a feast so they could continue eating.
You're welcome to "whinge" if you want.
I'll keep my anti-government perspective because
I resist government's many attempts to mess with me.
I don't elect our government.
I'm just a voter who knows his vote has no effect.
Our sources disagree.vomitorium
/ˌvɒmɪˈtɔːrɪəm/
noun
- 1.
each of a series of entrance or exit passages in an ancient Roman amphitheatre or theatre.
- 2.
a place in which, according to popular misconception, the ancient Romans are supposed to have vomited during feasts to make room for more food.
Who said I prefer something else? But you elected the government. That's how democracy works.
What other system would you prefer?
Our sources disagree.
Sometimes a source will be a stickler for etymology,
& refuse to acknowledge current usage. I prefer
sources that deal with language as it is....not as it
once was, or believed it should be.
And yet, dictionaries also cite "vomitorium" to meanHowever in this case its language as it was, a vomitorium was not a place to vomit but a place to enter and exit a public building.
Fight the good fight, comrade. You're welcome to "whinge" if you want.
I'll keep my anti-government perspective because
I resist government's many attempts to mess with me.
No worries. Some of my comrades are self describedFight the good fight, comrade.
Oops I mean libertarian
And yet, dictionaries also cite "vomitorium" to mean
a place to vomit during feasting celebrations. You
want to win an argument that it means something else?
I hereby allow that it has multiple meanings.
BTW, I won't say you're "right". (You might accuse
me of saying you're a conservative.)
The old no-true-dictionary fallacy, eh.No reputable dictionary says its i place to vomit. They sat such is a misconception.
I know i right so i really don't care
