I agree with you! She was honest
I see no evidence that she bore contempt for the working class though. Her conservatism was all about giving freedom to the working class.
She allowed the working class to buy their council houses for example.
I know you are going to argue that she destroyed millions of industrial working people lives... but this was an unfortunate outcome of the digital and information age that began in the 90s. She did what needed to be done to make sure Britain became a leader in the new emerging technological markets. Those working classes that lost their livlihoods were the last of the bygone Industrial age for Britain. You can't blame Thatcher for what needed to be done, unfortunate but it was a SNAFU
She had contempt for Labour Unions (who were ruining the country) and Socialism

IMO she did talk a load of bollocks so in that respect she did,i think though that we are being a little unfair to her,after all she cannot do any more harm,we should be more concerned over what the coalition government (what a farce) and that other student of talking a load of bollocks George Osborn does next to screw the last bit of juice from this country.
