    You're a busy little beaver, aren't you? First Santa, now the Easter Bunny...you'd be bleeding you found us too late to get stuck into Samhain/Halloween for our benefit, wouldn't you. I expect if we wait long enough it'll happen.
    By the way, Jesus did tell his disciples to go out on the anniversary of his ressurection every year and hunt coloured eggs laid by a rabbit, however it was edited from the final draft to make the chapter less disjointed.

    It does Soul but this is a pagan symbolisation, not a Christian one.

    I have to admit that this is a strange one since Easter is widely cited as the most important Christian holiday whether its traditions are affected by paganism or not. Surely if Christ had died with no ressurection then it would show the defeat of God by the evil and therefore mankinds sins would not be washed away. This is what Jesus' ENTIRE life has been leading up to. Who cares if he didnt tell us to celebrate it?? Surely we can use common sense in this matter and view this wonderous thing (if you belive in it that is) as just cause for celebration?

    He also didn't tell us NOT to celebrate it, Fluffy.

    That's not even comparable. Most people in Japan think we bake a big cake for Christmas, no giftgiving or anything, for godssakes! You think Easter would be any more accurate?

    The holy scriptures has the celebrations we're supposed to be observing. Beelzebub is influencing the masses according to Revelation 12:7-9.

    [size=-1]Revelation 12:7-9 (American Standard Version of 1901)
    And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels [going forth] to war with the dragon; and the dragon warred and his angels; [size=-1]12:8 And they prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven. [size=-1]12:9 And the great dragon was cast down, the old serpent, he that is called the Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world; he was cast down to the earth, and his angels were cast down with him. Shouldn't the Church that decided the Canon of Scripture decide what celebrations to observe?

    Awwwwwww yeeeeeeeaaaaa! It's all about the Paganism baby. You see that. We used to run this world and we shall once again. What you don't realize T3gah, is that secretly, all the Pagans around the world, sit in evil little circles in our heathen covens and discuss: "Alright, now how else can we corrupt these Christian holidays?"

    One-sided polemics from JWs and "Jesus Only" Pentecostals won't convince me. The Bible is the foundation of Christianity, not its sum total. Or do you believe that the Holy Ghost guided the church councils in determining the canon of the Bible only to take a nap when they were discussing solemnities and feasts?
