Can't be any worse than global warming paranoia by the socialist left.

You think that the president who instituted concentration camps is striving for "the ideal human society?" o_O

Still going on with the Concentration Camp thing?

Let me refresh your memory, it was the socialist left that instigated this whole thing at the start by going on and on with all this open borders bull**** and then raving on about Sanctuary cities for which mind you that Trump essentially said , "Okay, we will send them all to you"!

No more "concentration camps"! Has any of them taken in any yet? I'm sure the lap of luxury awaits all those 'immigrants'.

If one is working for Bannon there are always corroborated posts to refer to in the form of circular confirmations. None of which are wholely true but serve to provide confirmatory argument. The larger the organisation providing the fake news the wider this linking can go, to the extent that the false links are hard to break.

My statement was purposely easy for you to spot, but would have been accepted at face value by many readers. It could then be linked by them to support their own posts, and after three generations, would be accepted by many more as true.

Fake stories are Propagated in this way all too often.
If any thing is repeated sufficiently is becomes truth.

It could be that my post has already been passed on.......?

So you're saying that Trump decided to institute a program of concentration camps out of spite?

It's not like ICE is exactly looking for citizens to billet refugee claimants in their guest rooms. Especially since the cruelty is the point.

That's why I sometimes ask for links when I'm unfamiliar with a claim.

Of course you again forget that these so-called 'concentration' camps started with Obama.

Democrats Tweet 2014 Obama Migrant Detention Photo to Promote Trump Policy Hearing

You're essentially talking to the wrong people in this regard. Like usual, the Republicans are yet once again cleaning up the original mess that socialist Democrats made.

Once again we wouldn't be in this situation if the Socialist Democrats hadn't started it all.

Any one calling the democrats socialists, is a suspect source unlikely to be believed. Especially if the keep repeating the claim.

One thing's for sure, they are certainly not pro-democracy focusing on personal freedom and liberty. Far from it.

    .

While personal freedom and liberty are important, they are not absolute in any democracy. As they are tempered by the general good of all.
For instance a criminal looses his freedom. And laws curtail what individuals and businesses can do...
Largely democracy is about how a society conducts itself. Jointly and as individuals.

Total personal freedom, and liberty to do anything with out any restrictions, is anarchy.
It is equally bad to give government total control over individuals or people as a whole.

Democracy attempts to maintaine the balance between individuals and society for the maximum good of all.
    However democracy is necessarily imperfect.

Unfortunately you are very much in the minority.

Most people believe what they want to believe, and what reinforces their prejudices.

I don't disagree with what you're saying, yet on the other hand we have so many laws , rules and regulation, that nobody can count them anymore. Literally.

And they are still turning out even more laws rules and restrictions faster then high production at Coke and Pepsi combined.

Anybody who is over the age of 50 has a pretty good idea at just at how much freedom and liberty we've lost since then.

And the left is responsible for the vast majority of them that has taken our freedoms and Liberties to a point now where it's essentially suffocating many of the tenants of the Constitution in the Bill of Rights and of course peoples pursuit of happiness without having to worry about undue interference from the government at just about every angle these days.

Who went on and on about open borders? Can you name one member of Congress who went on and on about open borders? One Governor, a Mayor, a state Congressperson? Who are you talking about?

It's well enough received by people actually lived in socialist countries. All I can say is you're in denial.

I'm assuming you have no awareness of the ramifications of the issue or the evidence underlying it.
Let me refresh your memory. The "open border" thing is propaganda, and it's generally the Right that is first to abandon human rights when they feel insecure or threatened. The Left stays the course and honors legal principles and American values.

Were the concentration camps in Thule Lake, CA; Auschwitz, Poland; or the killing fields of Kampuchea creations of the Left, or the Right? How about the immigrant detention centers of today?

It's the Right with their enlarged amygdalas, who find the world threatening; who fear novelty, strangers and dissidents. It's the Right that, historically, rounds up the artists, intellectuals, political dissidents and "Others" whenever they feel threatened (and they always feel threatened. They're wired for it).

It's the Right who are first to sacrifice freedom for security.

It was not liberals who rushed through the Homeland Security Act or created the police-surveillance state we find ourselves in today.
The Right's cures are usually worse than the disease.

A certain amount of regulation is necessary if we're to live in harmony as social animals. The restrictions the Left advocates are generally for the good of the whole -- food and drug regulations, wage and hour laws, civil rights laws,
&c -- laws aimed at fairness and justice.
Those advocated by the Right, on the other hand, focus on safety, threat amelioration, homogeneity, loyalty and tradition. They seek to enforce convention, familiarity and predictability, and to restrict freedom of expression and abstract principles like fairness and justice.

The Left is nice. The right is tough. The left are the Christians; the Right, Romans.

As I've said. It's the Right that will sacrifice freedom and liberty for security. It was the Right that passed the 1798 Alien and sedition Acts, the Chinese Exclusion Act, the Espionage Act, and the 1918 Sedition Act.
It was the Right that opposed woman's suffrage and civil rights for blacks, Asians, Native Americans and gays. It was the Right that conducted the Palmer Raids, and that rounded up thousands of Japanese US citizens for detention during WW II.
Don't talk to me of civil rights and the Right Wing/Conservatives.

Democracy? The conservative, corporatist-dominated Right has always opposed democracy. From the inception, our founding fathers' "democratic republic" was rigged to maintain the power and wealth of the rich. Only white, male landowners had any say in government, and, in the event some radical idealists chose the "wrong" candidate, there was the Electoral College to correct the decision.

In a Democracy, The People usually want a piece of the pie. They want a say in their country's laws and economy. They want some benefit from their country's industry and natural resources. This is the last thing The Owners want.

The US (read: right wing corporatists) has suppressed democracy in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Uruguay and Venezuela; farther afield, in Arabia, Iran and Viet Nam.
"The Business of America is business."

Dictators and puppets are easy to deal with. We support them, and they play ball. They give us a piece of the action and keep the rabble in check. Easy-peasy. But give the people a say, and things get complicated.
