The Term "Shia" in Holy Quran

The word "Shia" means "followers; members of party". As such, the term "Shia" alone has no negative or positive meaning unless we specify the leader of the party. If one is a Shia (follower) of the most righteous servants, then there is nothing wrong with being Shia, specially if the leader of such party has been assigned by Allah. On the other hand, if one becomes the Shia [of] a tyrant or a wrong-doer, he shall meet with the fate of his leader. In fact, Quran indicates that on the day of Judgment people will come in groups, and each group has its leader in front of it. Allah, to whom belong Might and Majesty, said:

"One day We shall call every group of people by their respective Imams. (Quran 17:71)

In the day of judgment, the destiny of the "followers" of each group highly depends on the destiny of his Imam (provided that they really followed that Imam). Allah mentioned in Quran that there are two types of Imams. Some Imams are those who invite people to Hell fire. They are tyrannical leaders of each era (like Pharaoh, etc.):

"And We made them (but) Imams inviting to the Fire; and on the Day of Judgment no help shall they find. In this world We continued to curse them; and on the Day of Judgment they will be among the hateful. " (Quran 28:41-42).

Certainly, being the members of the parties of such Satanic Imams has been severely denounced in Quran, and the followers of such parties will meet the fate of their leaders. However, Quran also reminds that there are Imams who are appointed by Allah as Guides for the mankind:

"And We ASSIGNED from among them some Imams who GUIDE by Our authority since they were patient and believed firmly in Our Signs." (Quran 32:24)

Certainly, the true followers (Shia) of these Imams will be the real prosperous on the day of resurrection. Thus being a Shia does not mean anything, unless we know the Shia of whom. Allah mentioned in Quran that Some of His righteous servants were Shia of His other righteous servants. An example was Prophet Abraham who was mentioned in Quran specifically as the Shia of Noah:

"And most surely Abraham was among the Shia of him (i.e., Noah)" (Quran 37:83)

(Notice that the word "Shia" is explicitly used, letter by letter, in the above verse as well as the following verse.) In another verse, Quran talks about the Shia of Moses versus the enemies of Moses:

"And he (Moses) went into the city at a time when people (of the city) were not watching, so he found therein two men fighting, one being of his Shia and the other being his enemy, and the one who was of his Shia cried out to him for help against the one who was of his enemy" (Quran 28:15)

In the above verse of Quran, one is named the Shia of Moses (AS) and the other one is named the enemy of Moses, and the people at that time were either the Shia or the enemy of Moses (AS). Thus Shia is an official word used by Allah in His Quran for His high rank prophets as well as their followers. Do you want to say Prophet Abraham was sectarian? How about Prophet Noah and Prophet Moses?

If somebody calls himself a Shia, it is not due to any sectarianism, nor any innovation. It is because Quran has used the phrase for some of His best servants. The above verses that I mentioned in support of Shia, has used this term singular form (i.e., one group of followers). This means that it has special meaning, such as: THE Shia of Noah (AS), THE Shia of Moses (AS). Also in the History of Islam, Shia has been specially used for the "followers of Ali". The first individual who used this term was the Messenger of Allah himself [as shall we show in another article].

When you make it your religious identity, then it means sectarians, breakaway departers from the mainstream.

Just out of curiousity, why do you have a fabricated image of a human in your signature? Is that your idol or something?

There are 23,675 Members in this forums whom you my introduce your religion and most holy Sahaba to.

But for me I pray to Allah not to be with Abu Sufyan, Abu Bakr, Umar, Othman, Mu'awiyah and Yazid.

So stop it. Full Stop.

first of all the shias do not have a copy right on the imams OK,

and no sunni will claim that only we sunnis have a copyright on the sahabas,

the sahabas and the imams belongs to those who call themselves muslims and not shias or rawfidhs or whatever, so stop exaggerating,

go and read Shia Books, it was the shias of Kufa who betrayed imam Hussain, and conspired against Imam Ali, and Imam Hussain, May Allah be pleased with them as they are free from the falsehood you shias attribute to them

too bad, When the daughter of Hazarat Imam Ali, Um Kulthum bint Ali married the second Caliph it is a proof that there were no conflict among the sahaba, moreover your Mawla Ali sons were called Abu Bakr, Umar and Uthman, and these names were used by Ahle bait this is proof for me that you shias are takfiri and are causing fasad and spreading lies about the prophet and his family and his companions and are teaching falsehood, which is why i was a Jafri Shia and i renounced it and make tawba for this and now i follow the real Fiq of Muhammad SAWS which was taught by the companions and his family.

It's your imam Yazeed who killed Imam Hussain, and Kufa was a sunni city, and its Fath (Muslim conquest) was during Your Imam Yazeed.

It's no strange that you defend your Yazeed...I have posted videos in this forum before for some of your scholars justifying the killing of Imam hussain by your Yazeed.

Why do you say "your Yazeed"? I have rarely, if ever, come across any mainstream Muslim who would put themselves with Yazeed. Most, if not all, mainstream Muslims consider him a zaalim and a faasiq. But we do not go to your extent and call him kaafir, munaafiq etc.

You claim the Wahabis are takfiris, and there may well be some who are, but you are also a takfiri, and worst of all you are takfiri for Sahabah.

So let us compare mainstream view to shia view:

1) Position of ahl ul-bayt:
Shia: You idolise them and raise them far above where they should be, almost making them like prophets or more. You carry around pictures of them and venerate them to a point which seriously borders on shirk.

Mainstream: We love and cherish them, but admit they're human just like any other person. From them there is good and bad, just like with all human beings.

2) Position of other Sahabah:
Shia: Many of them are considered kaafir and munaafiq, you curse and denigrate them.

Mainstream: We love and cherish all sahabah, whether from ahl ul-bayt or not. But recognise they are mere humans, and they made mistakes.

You are the only ones who commit wrong in this case, since you make takfir on some sahabah, and pretty much every single Muslim ruler after them.

We do not make takfir on ahl ul-bayt but love and cherish them.

It is clear who takes the correct middle path, and who goes to extremes, due to their sanctification of a certain blood line.

May Allah (swt) guide you back to the mainstream path of Islam.

We love and cherish all sahabah

This your words.
and it's an foundation for Sunnism,

Allah will ask you and all of those calling themselves Sunnis, and will also ask me:

if the above statement is correct, then this means that Sunnism
is right and Shia'sm is Wrong.

If it's Wrong then this means that Shia'sm is wrong and Sunnism is right.

Everybody decides for himself, and if he or she is realy believe in hereafter then this means that his whole destingy is depending on this statement.

I'll not give any hint as i don't want to affect your decisions.

I don't practice anything called "Sunnism", I just practice Islam, as I call you to do. Abandon your sectarian Shi'ism and just return back to plain old mainstream Islam.

Expunge your hatred for the Sahabah and the Ummahaat ul-Mu'mineen and get rid of the idolatrous pictures you drape yourself with in your signature and avatar, and return back to the Haneef religion of al-Islam.

Stop slashing your body with whips and lamenting about something that occurred 1400 years (and yes we find it immensely sad also) and realise that in Islam we should not even mourn for more than 3 days, let alone for 1400 years.

Why do you always have to run from discussions this way, as I told you more than one time, its correct that we are going to be judged on whos right or wrong, HOWEVER, reason is there for a reason, so use it Barakallahu feek

My respected brother,

If you make a little comparison between our books and yours, you'll find that in our books we make takfir on your scholars but never on the laypeople who are excused for ignorance.

HOWEVER, if you look in your books you'll find that all sunnis are dirt, and are sons of ***, and all other stuffs that I cannot mention due to its dirtiness.

My respected brother,

When you insult the companions of the prophet sallalahu 'alayhi wassalam, and his wife , here what it says:

He had bad companions and bad wifes, right?? You know whats that??

Its mean the prophet salalalhu 'alayhi wassalam himself was bad and should be insulted, why? If he was good peace be upon the beloved , he would have chosen good companions and good wives, but each person choose who suits him.

So whos insulting the whole religion between the two parties? Please use your reason akhi, and open your eyes.

Attacking the companions is attacking the prophet himself. Attacking his wifes, is attacking his dignity and position in Islam.

Saying that Quran is not complete, is denying Quran where ALlah azza wajjal states that He azza wajjal will protect it throughout history, so please reflect on this.

Barakallahu feekum

Ps: Once again, have you heard of what annaji , the counseller of Assistani did? His crisis regarding porno movies he had in his phone, in company with married ladies from his "Islamic " universoty??

Subhan'Allah I was just thinking this same thing sister. By the words of the Prophet (pbuh) himself (الرجل على دين خليله) they are effectively making takfir on the Prophet (pbuh) as well, their blasphemy knows no bounds.

Yes brother, this is a common thing that all scholars state wal hamdulillah. i.e Thos who insult his companions and wives, just didnt find a way to insult him (otherwise, they'll have to fear for their lifes) , so they twisted it and insulted his companions and wifes, , و لا يريدون غيره صلى الله عليه و سلم

Also, when you hear someone telling you that we must make bounds with them even if we have differences between us, then one should say:

If someone insults your father you wont want to talk to him or have friendship with him for you whole life, but sahabas are more dear to ourselves than our own fathers, since they're the one who kept the sunnah so it can reach us , i.e they saved the whole Ummah with the help of ALlah azza wajjal from falling into misguidance, may Allah azza wajjal be satisfied with them all. Therefore, their dignity and position should be more protected and defended then our own fathers dignity .

Walhamdulillahi rabbi al 'alamine.

One last point to be mentioned, is the fact that even though we shoudlnt agree with shias on their beliefs, we still wish them to be guided wholeheartly and sincerely, since it is very painful for me personally to see them deluded by people such as thing ladylover annaji counseller of Assistani.

May Allah azza wajjal protect them and guide them to the right path, ameen

As for the completeness of Quran, It's a fundamental of Shia Islam, while Sunnis authentic Sources claim the opposite.

سورة 47 - آية 24

افلا يتدبرون القران ام على قلوب اقفالها
Will they then not meditate on the Qur'an, or are there locks on the hearts?

Allah citeth an example for those who disbelieve: the wife of Noah and the wife of Lot, who were under two of Our righteous slaves yet betrayed them so that they (the husbands) availed them naught against Allah and it was said (unto them): Enter the Fire along with those who enter.

سورة التحريم - سورة 66 - آية 4

ان تتوبا الى الله فقد صغت قلوبكما وان تظاهرا عليه فان الله هو مولاه وجبريل وصالح المؤمنين والملائكة بعد ذلك ظهير
If ye twain turn unto Allah repentant, (ye have cause to do so) for your hearts desired (the ban); and if ye aid one another against him (Muhammad) then lo! Allah, even He, is his Protecting Friend, and Gabriel and the righteous among the believers; and furthermore the angels are his helpers.

As per Sunnis, the last verse is about the about Aysha and Hafsa, and the one before it is from the same sura, and sunni scholars mentioned that it's related to it.
