Never heard of it. Short answer, people probably know themselves better than you. If they're sincerely happier calling themselves a "demiguy" or whatever, why does it bother you so much? As long as they're not hurting anyone, let people do what they like. That's kind of the point of all that Freedom and Liberty and Small Government conservatives and libertarians are supposed to like.
