Have you ever questioned why God would send anyone to hell only to suffer for all eternity?

Would a loving parent allow suffering for all eternity for their beloved family? Would a Savior? Suffering for all eternity is not consistent with Love, Mercy, or Grace. The picture we have been taught of God is completely flawed and is in need of a reformation.

If God has determined to stand with us, tell me, who then could ever stand against us?

For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son. And since God freely offered him up as the sacrifice for us all, he certainly won’t withhold from us anything else he has to give. Who then would dare to accuse those whom God has chosen in love to be his? God himself is the judge who has issued his final verdict over them—“Not guilty!”

Who then is left to condemn us? Certainly not Jesus, the Anointed One! For he gave his life for us, and even more than that, he has conquered death and is now risen, exalted, and enthroned by God at his right hand. So how could he possibly condemn us since he is continually praying for our triumph?

Who could ever divorce us from the endless love of God’s Anointed One? Absolutely no one!

For nothing in the universe has the power to diminish his love toward us. Troubles, pressures, and problems are unable to come between us and heaven’s love. What about persecutions, deprivations, dangers, and death threats?

No, for they are all impotent to hinder omnipotent love.
I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens.

There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love.

There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One! ~TPT

Kolasis aionion -Matthew 25:46

Greek scholar William Barclay wrote concerning kolasis aionion (age-during corrective chastisement) in Matthew 25:46

“The Greek word for punishment is kolasis, which was not originally an ethical word at all. It originally meant the pruning of trees to make them grow better.

There is no instance in Greek secular literature where kolasis does not mean remedial punishment. It is a simple fact that in Greek kolasis always means remedial punishment.

God’s punishment is always for man’s cure.”

Fifteen literally translated (not interpretively translated) Bibles that reveal what God will do with the sinners in Matthew 25:46

Concordant Literal, Young’s literal, Wilson’s Emphatic Diaglott, Rotherham’s Emphasized, Scarlett’s, J.W. Hanson’s New Covenant, Twentieth Century, Ferrar Fenton, The Western New Testament, Weymouth’s (unedited), Clementson’s, The New Testament of our Lord and Savior Jesus Anointed, The Restoration of Original Sacred Name Bible, Bullinger’s Companion Bible margins, Jonathan Mitchell’s translation (2010).

Concerning the duration of kolasis (literally - corrective punishment), Matt. 25:46 says (KJV), “And these shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into life eternal.”

Scarlett’s New Testament written in 1792 has “aeonian punishment” in place to “everlasting punishment.”

“And these will go away into aeonian punishment: but the righteous into aeonian life.”

The New Covenant by Dr. J.W. Hanson written in 1884 renders Matt. 25:46: “And these shall go away into aeonian chastisement, and the just into aeonian life.”

Young’s Literal Translation first published in 1898 and reprinted many times since uses the following words: “And these shall go away to punishment age-during, but the righteous to life age-during.”

Professor Young also compiled Young’s Concordance, where one can check the translation of each Hebrew or Greek word as translated in the KJV.

The Twentieth Century New Testament first printed in the year 1900 = “And these last will go away ‘into aeonian punishment,’ but the righteous ‘into aeonian life.’”

The Holy Bible in Modern English by Ferrar Fenton first published in 1903 gives the rendering: "And these He will dismiss into a long correction, but the well-doers to an enduring life.

The New Testament in Modern Speech, by Dr. F. Weymouth = “And these shall go away into punishment of the ages, but the righteous into life of the ages.”

Dr. Weymouth most frequently adopts such terms as “life of the ages,” “fire of the ages;” and in Rev. 14:6, “The good news of the ages.”

It is a matter of regret that the editors of the most recent edition of Dr. Weymouth’s version have reverted to the KJV renderings for the passages containing the Greek word aion, eon, or age.

The Western New Testament published in 1926 renders Matt. 25:46 as follows: “And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into life eternal.”

The translation, however, has a footnote on Matthew 21:19 on the word "Literally, for the age.”

Clementson’s The New Testament (1938) = “And these shall go away into eonian correction, but the righteous into eonian life.”

Wilson’s Emphatic Diaglott (1942 edition) translates the verse, “And these shall go forth to the aionian cutting-off; but the righteous to aionian life.”

t should be noted that the “cutting-off” refers to pruning a fruit tree to make it bear more fruit. The idea behind the word is not destructive but productive! Had Jesus wanted to emphasize a destructive end, He would have used the word “timoria.”

The Concordant Version (1930): “And these shall be coming away into chastening eonian, yet the just into life eonian.”

The New Testament of our Lord and Savior Jesus Anointed printed in 1958 says: “And these shall go away into age lasting cutting-off and the just into age lasting life.”

Joseph B. Rotherham Emphasized Bible (1959) =, “and these shall go away into age-abiding correction, but the righteous into age-abiding life.”

The Restoration of Original Sacred Name Bible copyrighted in 1976 = "age-abiding correction” instead of “everlasting punishment.”

Jonathan Mitchell’s translation (2010) =

And so, these folks will be going off into an eonian pruning (a lopping-off which lasts for an undetermined length of time; an age-lasting correction; a pruning which has its source and character in the Age), yet the fair and just folks who are in right relationship and are in accord with the Way pointed out [go off] into eonian life (life which has it source and character in the Age; life pertaining to the Age)”.

Even some King James Study Bibles will show the reader in the margins or appendixes that the King’s translators were incorrect in their rendering of "eternal punishment.”

Jesus got up from among the dead in great resurrection life and power.

In the eyes of the Father the resurrection of Jesus out from among the dead was not about the resurrection of one individual person. It was not about some natural happening. His resurrection was not to be seen as some one time historical event. His resurrection is a continual living reality. We are being resurrected from glory to glory. His resurrection shall continue to manifest until death is completely destroyed from His beautiful creation and death shall be no more.

His resurrection is not a one time event, but it is a living reality. His resurrection was to be seen as a living reality that has, and is, influencing all of God's wonderful creation. When Jesus got up from the dead in His resurrection life in the realm of the Spirit of truth all creation got up with Him; all creation got up with Him, every man got up from the grave.

The resurrection of Jesus touched and influenced all mankind, all this vast universe, thus also past present and future of all creation. His resurrection IS a living reality that has touched every man that has lived in the past ages of time, also every man that is presently alive today in the present age. Also his resurrection has influenced every man that shall ever live upon this earth therefore His resurrection life has touched all in the past age, all in this present age, also all in the ages to come.

1 Cor. 15:49

As we--(all creation---every man--) have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. As all creation in the past in this age, and also the ages to come have borne the image and death of the earthly realm

Yes,, everyman shall bear the image of the Lord Jesus Himself, caught up in the image and likeness of the power of His glorious resurrection life. When Jesus got up in resurrection life in the eyes of our heavenly Father, all creation got up with Him in His resurrection and life. Thus this all in telling truth shall be manifest and shall be made known & revealed for all to see and witness in divine due season. Everything with God is all about His perfect will and timing. Here is the state and condition of the path that all men follow...

Gal 4:2

But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. There is a time appointed by God for every man to experience the living reality of the power and glory of the resurrection life of Jesus. Jesus said "I Am" the resurrection and the life. Our God has appointed the time of resurrection for everyman. Here it is as clear as a bell.. The traditional teaching of the old church world is even now passing away as it is being swallowed up in resurrection light, glory and truth at every corner of this glorious planet.

Let God arise in resurrection life and power and glory. let the firstfruits of this age arise and shine in His resurrection life and power, that His resurrection power might become the living reality of all creation and every creature.

Here it is -1Cor. 15:21

For since by man "Adam" came death, by man "Jesus" came also the resurrection of the dead.
Notice it is by one man sin: Adam's sin affected every man with sin and death. Therefore ALL men died in the spiritual realm when Adam sinned. But God did not leave all creation there. Yes Adam's sin was passed upon all men. But much more (MUCH MORE) Jesus' graced filled resurrection influenced all creation with his glorious life and power.

Here it is -1 Cor. 15:22

For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. Here is a real key to understanding the resurrection of all men. The Father has appointed a divine time and age for all mens resurrection. We did not all come forth in resurrection life and power at the same time, nor the same age of time. It is now time for the resurrection of the firstfruit of his glorious harvest of the souls of all men.

Here it is -1Cor. 15:23

But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming. Yes beloved the resurrection of Jesus has touched and influenced the lives of every man, all creation. All this vast universe shall sing praises and honor to his all powerful and wonderful name.

Here it is Rev. 5:12,13

Even now in the realm of the Spirit we hear all creation singing his praise in resurrection life and power.
Saying with a loud voice, worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

Notice every creature. has been touched and caught up in His resurrection life and power. My friend Jesus's resurrection was not just his resurrection alone; when Jesus got up, in the eyes of our heavenly Father everyman got up with him. Every creature in all realms received the "I AM". This is the great salvation that Jesus's resurrection has provided for his creation. This salvation must come out of the invisible realm for everyman to live out and experience.

From glory to glory, from revelation to revelation, from faith to faith, his glorious resurrection is being unveiled right before our every eyes. I hear the sons of God in this hour declaring not one man, not one of our brothers shall be left behind. [

Here it is -Matt. 18:18

And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. In the power of His resurrection life the hinges of the gates oh hell shall be ripped off of their foundation. The captivity of every man shall pass away; the captives shall go free in the same resurrection life and power when Jesus got up, we all got up. ~Tim Wray

The Lord Jesus Christ is the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. He also is a lion who prevails as the Lion of the tribe of Judah.

The Lamb & the Lion consummates the all of ABBA.

there is no timeline on salvation - it's every man in his own order (I Cor 15:23).

God's Lost & Found

When the Scripture uses a word such as perish or destroy, the original word is apollumi. The koine Greek word apollumi means to to lose, or to be lost. It is the same word Jesus used when He said

"I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel" (Matthew 15:24).

and

"Does he not leave the ninety-nine in the open country and go after the lost sheep until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders and goes home. Then he calls his friends and neighbors together and says, Rejoice with me; I have found my lost sheep (Luke 15:4-7).

The word, apollumi, is used to describe a sheep which was lost and then was found and restored. And Christ uses this same exact word in the following verse''

"Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, fear the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell" (Matthew 10:28-29). (The word translated as "Hell" in this verse is actually gehenna, the city dump outside of Jerusalem)

The original koine word for destroy here is apollumi which means to lose or be lost. This verse is not speaking of an eternal annihilation of a soul, but of a temporary losing of the soul, just like the lost sheep that was later found. It is the same with all the times you see Jesus speaking of someone perishing, such as in John 3:16

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

A better translation would be whoever believes in Him should not be lost. We are all lost until God finds us. Those who die yet unbelieving will experience further apollumi, or being lost in the Lake of Fire, which is the second death. But God has promised to destroy all death once and for all and grant belief to all at the consummation of the ages.

If apollumi meant destruction according to the traditional definition by those who believe in eternal torment or annihilation, then Jesus is lost forever,

"But the chief priests and the elders persuaded the multitudes that they should ask for Barabbas and destroy (apollumi) Jesus." Matt. 27:20

So then, will you hold to the "traditional" view which makes the word of God of no effect? Or will you have the courage to go against the traditional hell-fire or annihilation view which denigrates the glorious victory Jesus bought through conquering death on the Cross for all mankind?

Those who are lost? or perished, are like the lost sheep.

The lost sheep was perished, but the shepherd sought it out and restored it. We are all like the lost sheep before God finds us. Even now we are. We are all apollumi, or lost and perished as the lost sheep was. We are separated and alienated from God. But the lost sheep did not stay that way. And neither does anyone else. The Good Shepherd does not stop looking until He has found the last one.

Understanding God's nature and correction

Our God is perfect in all his ways. Therefore his correction and dealings concerning mankind are always successful and complete.

Phil. 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ: God's corrections and discipline are always with purpose. He never corrects just for the sake of doing something. Everything our God does is with plan and purpose.

Eph 1:11

In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will. When God is dealing with his children in discipline and correction it is designed to bring repentance and victory. It brings the fruit of righteousness and peace. God's correction always has a beginning. After his plan and purpose is fulfilled and his work has ran it's course his corrected work has changed lives. Tthe correction of that time shall subside and stop. Therefore nowhere in all scripture will we find that God's correction is design and purposed to last forever. There is no such thing in the kingdom of God as eternal damnation. There if no where to be found in all passages of our God's word any such thing as everlasting punishment. No, God's discipline is always with purpose of bring man to repentance and thus shall bear the fruit of righteousness, peace and joy in the realms of the Holy Spirit.

Matt 25:31-47 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory. And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats. And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was an hungry, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink. I was a stranger, and ye took me in, naked, and ye clothed me. I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me. Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. For I was hungry, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink. I was a stranger, and ye took me not in, naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? Then shall he answer them, saying, verily I say unto you, inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the righteous into life eternal. But the people who had never done all these things mentioned by the Lord were separated unto the left hand of God! They received no kingdom. There were no rewards for work done or attainments reached. Rather, they were set on the dark side of God, they were put under a kingdom and under authority and they were placed in a process of fiery judgment to receive correction.

There is much subtle truth in these words of Jesus. Let's look at what the Spirit is saying concerning everlasting punishment from the Greek kolasis, which means simply that, punishment. It comes from the root kolazo which sheds precious light upon the nature of the punishment. Kolazo, according to Strong's Concordance, bears only two shades of meaning, namely, "to curtail" or "to chastise." To "curtail" means to restrain as a person is restrained in jail or a child is restrained when he is "grounded" for a week because of some disobedience. Notice the nature of God's correction of his people. He always has a purpose. His correction has a beginning; it does it's work, when his work is fulfilled and complete the correction then comes to an end.

God never punishes men forever. His plan always works victory and overcoming power in our lives, he never fails. "Chastise" has one simple meaning according to Webster's New World Dictionary: to punish in order to correct, usually by beating.

It should be clear to any thoughtful mind that the subject here is not meaningless, sadistic, unending torture, but purposeful correction.

There is no eternal damnation in God. His correction works, therefore there is no need for him to punish someone forever. He is so powerful; He is able to subdue all things unto himself.

Phil. 3:21

Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

Even when God needs to correct us with divine discipline his purpose and the end is always victory and it causes us to repent.

Jer 29:11

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

While the King James version states that these goats go into everlasting fire and everlasting punishment and the sheep enter into life eternal, that is not quite the meaning of the Greek. The Greek word here translated everlasting and eternal is aionios and aionios is the is the adjective form of the Greek noun aion.

Some have arrogantly contended that the punishment must be everlasting because the same word is used of the life of God - eternal life - and if the punishment is not eternal then the life cannot be eternal. But that is an argument put forth by the ignorant, the result of the shallow reasoning of men who reach hasty conclusions not founded on the facts.

"If the punishment ends then God's life must end, if the life is eternal then the punishment must be eternal," we are told!

We must understand the nature of God's correction & the purpose of his dealings which are always to help us.

Hebr. 12:6,7

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

Notice the ways of God. He will never just leave us in mark missing, his way is to correct us.... that we might come into perfect agreement and oneness with him,. to walk in complete unity and harmony with our God making us one with him.

If he loves us he chastens us for a reason, a purpose to bring victory and power. Notice he plans for correction of man, which never last forever never last forever. There is no such thing in our God's heart that will ever cause him to correct any man forever and forever. His correction is all powerful, his correction is perfect. He is perfect in all of his ways. His discipline will bring forth the fruit of righteousness and peace. When God has corrected every man & every man has repented, he will gather together in one all things in Jesus Christ.
