A revolting ode solstice celebrations

As the weather turns a freeze'n
does the season need a reason?
We needn't look to
a diety who
needs a please'n or appease'n

The season is all about "shopping days until Christmas."

Thanksgiving Day becoming Signal Day that the 'buying binge' has begun.

The commercialization of Christmas or making holy sacralization of Business ?

If they had to chose just one, which one would be more indispensable to merchants the Christ child or Santa Claus ?

At this point, has Christmas not only shed 'Christian' significance,
but even shed some of its older pagan significance ?

The Nativity is commercialized.

There is no need and was no need for people to choose between Jesus and Santa - they had both and will continue to have both for the foreseeable future.

As far as Christianity is concerned, there's no distinction between "pagan" and "Christian" terms - the difference is completely artificial.

Who fathered Christmas ?

Is Santa the god of Christmas?

Who gave life, so to speak, to the Christmas story which is out of sync with Scripture ?

If you are asking why I said its a true story, its because the front man for the Kinks really did work as a Santa Claus, called Father Christmas in England, and he really was mugged by a bunch of kids.

That still does not make the so-called Christmas story a true account about Jesus birth.

Was Santa present at Jesus birth ?
