I just realized something. A lot of people have told me I just need to talk more to get dates, make friends, have success at work, and so on and so forth. So I set out to get better at this talking thing, and thousands of passengers I feel like I'm more skillful in small talk and idle chatter than the average person.
But talking more hasn't actually achieved those things people told me it would. I just talk more and don't do many ultra-minimal replies anymore.
And my knee still hurts. A very deep, very dull, but intense pain.

I had a free cake thingy from Red Lobster that I used today.
Somehow, and I have no idea how, the ice cream served with turned into flakey layers, became crunchy, and a solid as if it had been freeze dried.

I've been playing NBA 2k21 tonight on my Switch. The download took 4 and a half hours. I have few nitpicks about the game, well it's worth overlooking the ones I do have.

I used to try dating sites to increase social interaction, but I soon realized it's not really about your communication skills on one. It's four out of five parts how good of a photographer you are and how well you understand the matching algorithms which make your profile visible. While I do see myself making statements like this as a bit cynical and insincere, opening your heart up on those adult sites all about the numbers and using that as a basis for others to judge, just didn't really work well for me either.

It's been many years since last I tried. They all basically told me "Common! You live in Indiana. Not even we can work miracles."
Once the beard is gone though, and I'm not in such a weird inbetween due to having it removed, I may try one again.

My mom once bought me a Christian book on nature study and in the book, it suggested that if one ever tracks an owl, that they should examine its pellets if they want to be observational of certain things like the bird's diet. It just struck me as something you don't say, and you probably wouldn't want to touch them really or get near them. It just didn't seem smart or brainy to do so.

In Numbers I Trust - I shot down a bluffing over better and my bankroll reached it's first +$10 mark.
But I realized I really need to play limit as I build a bankroll, because I don't have enough yet to really play the loose-aggressive game. But I'm inching that way.

I want tacos. I would eat 5 of them and not feel bad about it later. Because they're tacos.
I found a super tasty hot sauce. I normally wpuld be disappointed and not eat it because its not really that hot (despite having Trinidad scorpion and ghost pepper), and I normally don't do hot sauce unless it burns, but this stuff, oh my GAWD it is such a tasty sauce I'm trying to find other things to use it on (I may even try hot sauce pizza because this sauce is just that good).
And I want tacos. Meanie. Its your faul
t!

We've found a few decent hot sauces in the African section at some of our markets. Found a yellow scotch bonnet one that is decently hot with a wonderful flavor...

We found a smoked one that is lacking in heat, but has such a strong and delicious flavor we use it anyways.

@Rival; My plan is starting to be set into motion. I have taken the lunch money of one person, bringing us closer together to that thing we discussed.
But first I seriously want my chicken nugget! Im barely above the income level of anyone who actually does mturk stuff, but after a while Ill be able to take more lunch money. But Im already getting money for fresh chicken nuggets. So, I don't know. Sounds like an issue to me.

We find owl and hawk pellets under our trees on a regular basis...all they are are the undigestable remains of what they've eaten...mostly bones, fur and the like. A magnifying glass and gloves is all you really need...

Just thinking the other day, that when I was the same age as my youngest, I was taking bike rides with friends to a lake about 15 miles away. Today, there is no way I'd let my youngest do that.......and the oldest.....living 400 miles away even bothers
I mean...come on, bear. Give'm a cell phone and 20 bucks and you're on vacation until they come back....well more like 60$ now, but its the same idea.

The node on the mind map dealing most directly with media is “19,” about building socialist ideology.
This branch looks at issues like addressing “fundamental change in the nature of the public opinion ecology” and other such things,
all related to the control of information in the “New Era.”
Many of these aspects, however, fall under what has more recently been termed “Xi Jinping News Thought,”
or Xi Jinping xinwen sixiang (习近平新闻思想)
— a designation that makes Xi the first leader in the reform era to have a “name crowning,”
or guanming (冠名), in relation to media policy.
[the graphic did not embed] it is a mind map detailing the current policy of China.
curious that #19 has such content.
signs...hmmm
