My common sense also tells me that there is not "one true religion"Welcome here to RF, but to give my response to the OP is that I don't believe there is a "one true religion".

Yeah I'm responding to you YodaSure I am not, as to whom you are addressing.
In response to my opening post, this was?
Confusing things get, when neither quotes nor usernames are included.
I did offer an answer, above.
Whether it satisfies or not, is not in my power.
Care I do, most certainly.
But early it seems, to address this most weighty inquiry.
Let us wait one day
to see if other posters will reveal themselves
as followers of the One True Religion.
Could it be that they are present,
but have not yet viewed this thread?

The question asked to Dalai Lama is: "How should someone who believes that different religions can be equally valuable, respond to someone who says that only their religion is true?". (I like the gentle and respectful approach of the Dalai Lama on this. It's only 4 minutes.)There is only 1 Truth, this is God

Could it be that what Jesus said in this Bible verse means those who follow him? And not all the rest of usJesus said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6

John 17:3 This means everlasting life, their coming to know you, the only true God, and the one whom you sent, Jesus Christ. There is only 1 Truth, this is God

I agree with this.“I am Jehovah, and there is no one else.''
Really? Then who named him?“I am Jehovah, and there is no one else.''
No they're not. He also knew there would be a resurrection and including those who did not listen or learn about Christ. When Jesus said that, did he think about the innocent people in the tribal religions in Africa, Asia, and the Americas? They never heard about Jesus and died. I think he was just talking to those around him. Otherwise, all those innocent people are doomed.
Not necessarily. Let's say you are going somewhere but on the road is a large hole you weren't warned about. But your neighbor told you about it so you were warned and avoided damage to your car. Thàt is one way describing intervention or concern.Really? Then who named him?
If you are it, all that is, nothing else -- well there's hardly any need for an identifier so we can tell you apart from the nothing else, right?
