I always knew there was something not quite right about Salix, something I couldn't quite put my finger on, something off, even a little dark perhaps...
Now that I've seen "Good Omens", I think of it as a phone number. It would not be your phone number as well, would it @SalixIncendium ?

Early Christians sometimes said the number of Jesus was 888 completely exceeding perfection, 777, where 666 completely falls short.
That is one view.

Your going to have to get on line. Your great-grandmother also has the mark of the beast.
Great grandmother (colloquial) = סבתא רבא = 60+2+400+1+200+2+1 = 666
Some other slightly interesting things with the mark of the beast:
The Sun of G-d - שמש יקוק
Jaffa Gate - שער יפו
Meah Shearim - מאה שערים
The computer guy - איש המחשב (you probably long suspected this)
Netanyahu (each letter is spelled out) - נון תיו נון יוד הא וו
