The Miracle Plant

It has been known for centuries about the incredible uses for hemp. A fast growing plant that could have revolutionized the industrial world. Each part of this plant has literally thousands of uses.

This short video explains just a few......

Imagine if humans had used hemp instead of the artificially produced chemical poisons that replaced it.....
It would have reduced pollution by plastics and petroleum products to a very manageable level....but those with vested interests in oil and pharmaceuticals continue to bombard the planet with substances that are killing life in the oceans and on land....including us. :(

People already do use hemp for uses. It's a useful plant, but I don't think it's the Holy Grail.

No one said it was the holy grail.....but it would have prevented almost all of the substances polluting this planet if it had been used instead. Bio-fuels, plastic, building materials, fabric....literally thousands of applications....all non polluting.

As a medicine, it would have revolutionized the whole practice. But it was prevented from reaching the people who would have benefited the most. It still is......the reason? Greed. o_O

If it ever becomes legal here I'm willing to try it, seen it help people who are worse of on youtube vids. People aren't creatures of reason though, local politicians far less so than an educated population, so I'm not seeing it happen while I'm alive. Cannabis is still seen as the devil even if it were for non-recreational use, because it was associated with counterculture and because of the international community.

It is getting harder to push back the ignorance because the internet has spread the word and that can't be controlled by the media.

If people still think that cannabis is a dangerous drug, then they need to compare the death rate associated with overdoses of "legal" drugs and how many deaths have ever been attributed to cannabis overdose.

"Depressants, opioids and antidepressants are responsible for more overdose deaths (45%) than cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and amphetamines (39%) combined."

Watch Truth About Drugs Documentary Video & Learn About Substance Addiction. Get The Facts About Painkillers, Marijuana, Cocaine, Meth & Other Illegal Drugs.

How many people have ever died from a cannabis overdose = ZERO.

No one wants to see people off their face on drugs, but there are so many people benefitting from medicinal cannabis, that the powers that be can no longer deny them. It is getting harder to maintain their position in the face of such overwhelming evidence.

There is no valid reason why the suffering people of this world are prevented from using this plant medicinally. It is so effective for so many ailments....it should be available to all.
CBD is not psychoactive, it will not get you high.....it is medicine that will make you well.
They don't want us to be well....they want us to remain sick so that we will be their customers for life. The worship of the almighty dollar has shown itself to be heartless once again. :(

Weed charges procure a lot of court money. That's about it.

Not to mention the profits made by privately owned prisons which are full of "criminals" who did nothing more than take a God-given plant to help them to relax or to ease their pain. Why are the jails not full of those who use alcohol for the same reasons? Abuse of alcohol causes major harm to people, their families, the health system and the community?
Abuse of prescription drugs does too.

But a harmless plant...? It makes no sense..... until you realize why. :(

I agree. Cannabis is somewhat of a miracle plant.

Too miraculous to still be illegal...or to have been made illegal in the first place.
But the agenda behind the ban was disgusting.

Here's hoping that pressure from the suffering millions around the world will touch the heart of someone who can actually move this mountain.....they are running out of excuses. :(

You make an excellent point that the world would have been a very different place and would be a very different place today if it weren't for the forces have that vilified, and continue to vilify, cannabis. It's changing slowly, all too slowly. There is still a significant percentage of Americans (especially Republicans) who hypocritically condemn cannabis as "dangerous" while approving and partaking of legal alcohol.

When you realise that plastic made from hemp is non-polluting, biodegradable and actually beneficial to the environment and then see what petroleum based plastic is doing to the world, it makes you realise the extent that man's greed has poisoned our planet and is threatening the beings who live on it and especially in our oceans.....

It would be a very different world if those who had hemp banned had been overruled by those with wisdom instead of greed for wealth and power. A view into the future of what that decision was going to mean might have saved many thousands of creatures from a slow and painful death. But you have to wonder if they would have cared. Now they know....but what are they doing about it?

This was totally preventable.

Is hemp any good? I've never smoked it. ;)

Hemp is amazing......but not for smoking. It has very low THC, so it cannot make you high.....But it has loads of CBD which is the medicinal component of the cannibis plant.....beneficial for a multitude of uses. It was demonised so that people would associate it with hard drugs. It is still viewed by many as a dangerous drug......it never was.

It is a crop that would have saved the world......it is not dangerous in any way, but banned so that oil barons could make money from their poisonous waste products. They created a monster that is suffocating the world......it continues unabated whilst people argue over financial concerns....and we all have to ask why money is more important than the future of the only home we have!

I consider it more a natural plant than a "miracle" plant.

When you understand how many applications this one plant has, it goes way beyond "natural" and right on into the "miraculous gift" it was designed to be for humanity and for all other creatures who share planet Earth. There are local varieties of this plant found on every continent. It has been used as medicine and multitudes of other applications for thousands of years.

Is this just another "fortunate accident" of nature?

What does "natural" mean anyway?
