Could different people in different times be Messiahs.
Anything could be an upcoming series on Netflix.
From a non-dual perspective, the Avatar (messiah) can not be separate from everything so when he manifests, we are all the Avatar in some sense or other.
I heard whispers that there might be a series on fashion featuring the fashion coordination of paisley, plaid, argyle and stripes.
Wow! When's the first episode? My great granny wants to know.

When I did believe in these things, my concept of a messiah was anyone who raised the consciousness towards god/truth.
I’ll let you know as soon as I find out. Right now I’m only hearing whispers of it. Unfortunately, they’re all in my head.

Messiah means king of Jews. There has been many of them and I believe Jesus is and will be the everlasting one.

It actually means "to be anointed using oil", and it was used to bless royalty and those with prophetic roles, including a "savior".
It means 'Annointed One'. In this case the Messiah is Annointed with the Holy Spirit, In other words it is God's Messenger's that are the Messiah’s.

No. There are very few prophecies regarding the messiah, but they all clearly refer to one man -- the ruler of Israel during the messianic era.
