In what way did she go after the victims?

I really don't know what your saying is some changing attitude, far as I know liberals have been opposed to sexual assault. Did women suddenly not mind living with a serial assaulter, no way.

Of course, they'd say they were against sexual assault. And I'm sure that
in a general sense, they truly were. But when Bill was running for & serving
as Prez, liberals looked the other way when he was accused of it. So sexual
assault was wrong sometimes, but not when it's one of their own.

The leftish media had the stories, but refused to air them. It only became known
thru the Drudge Report. (The internet was a game changer because the mainstream
media could no longer dictate what we read.) I recall how odd it was that NPR was
entirely silent during Bill's campaign for re-election. They only covered it after he'd
won his 2nd term, & it couldn't damage him politically. Even then, they covered him
    in a sympathetic manner.
And ironically, now NPR's head news guy has been outed as a sexual harasser.

ABC is still trying to sanitize Bill. Note in this article which claims to address Bill's sexual
predation, it deals only with the sordid Lewinsky affair, but doesn't even mention Willey's
    or Broaddrick's accusations of rape.
Should Bill Clinton's history of sexual harassment be re-examined?
So we're not done progressing towards fully open opposition to sexual assault by the powerful & elite.

All this article says is what you've already alleged - that Hillary was involved or complicit in "a strategy of dismissing and besmirching the women who stepped forward", but doesn't actually specify what this means. What I asked was in what way she went after the victims.

Juanita Broaddrick claimed that Hillary threatened her.
(It's in one of the articles I linked.)
Perhaps you don't recall the White House's response to the accusations flying
towards Bill...what they called "bimbo eruptions" (coined by Betsy Wright, a
long time Clinton aparatchik). Or dismissing them as "trailer trash".
Even The Atlantic covered Hillary's role back in 2014....

What was she alleged to have said?

That's more like it - although this article is actually quite sympathetic to Hillary.

I gave a link which contained Juanita Broaddrick's account.
I'll look over the thread to find it, & post it again.

    Here is one....
The rape allegation against Bill Clinton, explained
Coverage sure can vary, depending upon the predisposition of the source.
I've even seen Roy Moore get some positive press (on OAN).
It's interesting how sources choose what to cover or not cover.
But it's more interesting (the thread's theme) to see how coverage is changing among friendlies.

Is that why football player stars get away with this stuff and worse. There is something far more a troubling than what money will buy most people, its a culture.

    Interesting question.
As a landlord, I noticed that even collegiate athletes get a pass for crimes.
Once it was even for gunplay. I stopped renting to football, baseball, hockey,
& basketball players. (Yes, that kind of discrimination is legal.)
But I suspect that they're cut much less slack today if things become public.
