See ignosticism ...

This Monday marks the first anniversary of the death of Rabbi Wine. I met him a couple of times but (sadly) never took the opportunity to discuss ignosticism with him. It's an approach worthy of consideration.

As for Rabbi Wine, may his memory be for blessing.

The consistent ignostic, therefore, awaits a coherent definition of the word God (or of any other metaphysical utterance purported to be discussable) before being able to engage in arguments for or against God's existence.

Can I take it that Rabbi Wine found this sort of position consistent with Judaism and faith, then? I am not saying it isn't, just curious. Was he a Reform Rabbi, or one of the conservatives..?
