How do they feel about the Book of Mormon? Well, it's hard to outright say they don't believe it anymore, so they tapdance around it:
"With other Christians, we affirm the Bible as scripture for the church. In our tradition, the Book of Mormon and the Doctrine and Covenants are additional scriptural witnesses of Gods love and Christs ministry."
What does "in our tradition" mean? Every single thing is in the past tense. You will not find a reference to the Book of Mormon that puts it in the present. "In our tradition" means "we used to believe".
"In our tradition" does
not mean, "we used to believe." It means, "we have always believed." As far as everything being in the past tense, your own example refutes your claim: "The Book of Mormon and the Doctrine and Covenants
are additional scriptural witnesses of Gods love and Christs ministry."
They deny direct revelation.
So why do they say, "The process through which God reveals divine will and love is called revelation.
God continues to reveal today as in the past."? You conveniently neglected to include this statement in your little cut and paste.
Oh, it's absolutely enough, Dan. I can't believe another member of my Church would stoop so low.
