I have no idea who is the greater or lesser of two evils because the government and media only let us know what they want to let us know. I automatically assume from the outset that the politician is corrupt and all that matters is how affected we are by that corruption. The world is heading towards globalisation but I disagree with it because of how it affects the country. Politicians should solely focus on the country so that the country is self sufficient rather than be dependent on the economy and resources of a worldwide community of other countries which results in internal problems caused by external factor that have nothing to do with the country itself.

Ironically though, America was the cause of globalism as it wanted to create a worldwide capitalist system centred around the US. Now that is backfiring with China gaining power which makes the economy centred around China which is good for China but nobody else.

So I prefer economic isolation because it makes the individual country strong and increases the wellbeing of its people whereas a global society leaves individual countries and its people in shambles, struggling to survive.
