The Feral Class

I don't see them as feral. In fact, i use there methods of care and love to raise my own children.
Well said @ChristineM . There seems to be some confusion about "feral" and other terms e.g. non-conformist, bohemian, anarchistic (a favourite of many old hippies as I recall.

Most that I have read, met or heard about were frequently spiritual and usually caring towards humanity and nature. The term feral does not apply.

It was on fire when I laid down on it.
Seriously mentally ill would be common to some people unaccustomed to specific personality types. Other types see many of them quite differently. It's a dangerous world and although hierarchy and status seem important, others see them as obstacles the higher you go on the stepping stones. I've not always lived like this, but I've taken the position that it's best to live below my means than to live above my means, or to live according to them. I suppose this affords me both limitations and certain liberties. Social stigma is difficult to escape from and proving oneself is rarely an easy effort.
I totally get what you're saying. However, my brother is seriously mentally ill, as in schizophrenic. He is a raving lunatic and I mean that graciously.

I don't know what to say. :D
It's a very sad situation. I also think it can be genetic. Our mother was seriously mentally ill and so is her sister. I seem to have dodged that bullet but he didn't. Poor guy. Also, out of all our first cousins (12 on my mom's side), nine are "normal" but three definitely are not.

The average risk of a person developing a major mental health disorder is 2 percent but mine is 11 percent. Like I said, I am in my 60s and so far so good but I think my brother pulled the short stick or whatever when it came to that.

Yeah well ... I've been on that side of the equation myself in times past, which is the reason for my first post to you. You understand that apparently, so I don't know what to say about the other things, which is kind of odd for me.

It's OK to say nothing sometimes.
