The End Time Prophecy in Revelation 16:12 has been Fulfilled

One of the End Time prophecies in the book of Revelation states that in the last days the Euphrates river would dry up and eastern military forces would begin to use the river as a pathway/location for military related operations.

REVELATION 16:12

"12 And the sixth angel poured out his vial upon the great river Euphrates; and the water thereof was dried up, that the way of the kings of the east might be prepared."

The Euphrates river has dried up and is now being occupied by eastern military forces just as the prophecy in Revelation 16:12 predicted over 2,000 years ago.

Wouldn't it have been a much better prophecy if you could have told us this time last year?

It does not refer to any military forces, it refers to the “kings” of the east.
Russia is not led by a king and Syria is led by a president.

You have to remember that this was written 2,000+ years ago. "Presidents" did not exist back then.

Here is a different translation:

REVELATION 16:12 (NLT)

"Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great Euphrates River, and it dried up so that the kings from the east could march their armies toward the west without hindrance."

The shortsightedness of the Prophets is no reason to misinterpret their prophecies, a king is not a president, and the All-knowing Omniscient one could easily have explained to the ancients that in the future people would vote for their rulers had this prophecy truly come from the Omniscient.

The title/name that future leaders would go by in the last days has nothing to do with the fact that the prophecy clearly predicted the Euphrates river would dry up so that eastern forces would be able to use it for military purposes.

The fact that nobody was using it to predict back then what is happening now. Hindsight is a marvelous thing.

What are you talking about? 2,000+ years ago it was written that the Euphrates river would dry up in the last days so that eastern forces could use it for military purposes. Now in the 21st century, what was predicted is happening exactly as it was written.

Correction, so the forces of “kings of the east” could cross it.

Anyway going of the titles of your articles, they are presumably all about military activity on the eastern side, with none crossing.

And besides the lack of foresight of the prophecy is showing. Modern armies cross oceans let alone rivers. Troop carriers can literally deploy paratroopers from the sky, they have no need to wait for mere rivers to dry up to attack

Yes, on the eastern side as of right now. The prophecy says that the Euphrates river would dry up so that the way would be prepared -- not that they would immediately cross it.

Also, there's this from the OP:

"US Coalition claims Syrian military is building up its forces in Euphrates River Valley"

https://mobile.almasdarnews.com/art...ding-up-its-forces-in-euphrates-river-valley/

The other actions, procedures and capabilities of modern militaries have nothing to do with the fact that this prophecy was written 2,000+ years ago, and that what was predicted is happening exactly as it was written.

‘Recently, the Water Ministry announced that Turkey had doubled the water flow into the Euphrates, salvaging the planting phase of the rice season in some areas.
That move increased water flow to about 60 percent of its average...’
From the 2009 NYTimes article posted in the OP.
Sure puts it into perspective what it means by drying up. At 60% and increasing its not really exactly as prophecied.

That was in 2009. "Increasing"? Like I said, that was in 2009, and it didn't increase. Why don't you look into a more recent article or story and see what you find?

You should realize that very little in the Book of Revelation should be considered literal in fact very little in the Book of Revelation is literal . The Euphrates River is also symbolic of something

Selective quoting.
Give me the verse, exact words.

You have made an assertion here without showing any biblical evidence to support it.

What evidence from the Bible is there that the Book of Revelation intends the Euphrates as symbolic?

as i pointed out the whole Book of Revelation is symbolic, with very little of it considered factual.
The great city of Babylon was originally built so that it straddled the Euphrates, and the river’s waters were used to form a broad deep moat encircling the city and also to form a network of canals within the city walls. At the time of Babylon’s fall in 539 B.C.E., Cyrus diverted the waters of the Euphrates so that his troops could march through the riverbed into the unsuspecting city. Thus, the waters of the Euphrates were ‘dried up.’ (Isa 44:27, 28; 45:1) In symbol, the same thing is prophesied to result from the outpouring of the sixth angel’s “bowl” on “the great river Euphrates,” as described at Revelation 16:12. The following chapter describes the destruction of symbolic “Babylon the Great,” which is said to ‘sit on many waters,’ these representing “peoples and crowds and nations and tongues.”—Re 17:1, 5, 15-18.
