The Doctrine of inerrancy

The bible never makes claims that the book you are reading is a doctrine of inerrancy. It does teach that the original authors were moved by God as they wrote and as the prophets spoke. Thus the resulting God given doctrine, at the initial "moving", would be without any error because a God is non-errant. But today we only have reprints. The history of the publication of Bibles has it's own mystery full of murder and secrecy. The latest scrolls found were not released until 40 years after their discovery. Biblical inerrency and errors do exist in the modern bibles. Revelations fortells the fate of the top religious powers of the world that attempt to twist His words, suiting their own desires. But all things pertaining to salvation and godliness are intact and inerrent in all bibles. Really its a no lose debate.

No point in responding! The Title of the forum has been recently changed by Pah from "Debate" to "Discussion"...Just another way to talk in circles about nothing! As most discussions go.

I'll repeat in case you missed it elsewhere, if you have a problem with what a mod says, as a mod, pm one of the supermods or admins for an answer to your complaint. Do not post a public comment about what a mod says as a mod. At this time, you might PM another mod assigned to the Debate Forums to bring your complaint before the whole moderator staff.

But I think you will find that they will say that the use of "discussion" would apply to debate, for discussion is the "common denominator" of debate.

Soooooooooooo, we still don't have any scriptures that indicate that they are without error.
Well if the Bible is not inerrant then the fact that it does not claim inerrancy means nothing....after all, the Bible could be wrong about not being inerrant. :biglaugh:

Just test it out. If you follow the Word and do not get the promised results then it's in error. If you test it and find it's true, then it's inerrant.
