Some of the ads by the Lincoln project are very effective. Not all of them, but this one I think is.

Conservatives will say it's fake news and all lies. Can't help those people. Brainwashed.

The only thing missing in the above photo of Trump is horns.

I had to look up what the Lincoln Project is. It seems to be a Republican campaign group opposed to Trump.

What a very good idea. More power to their elbow! If I were a US citizen I would make them a donation.

I am glad I could introduce you to them. Check them out on YouTube. They have lots of good ads.

I didn't know that Trump dodged serving in the military.

I think people that typically use dramatic musical scores and greyed out color tones are the ones who like to brainwash.

Very likely the reason he can't understand why his attempted use of the military to "dominate" ( a word he is using over and over again these days) is so very wrong -- and finally drew the rightful comments made by those military men who understand it only too well.

How does it feel, I wonder, to live in "the land of the free," with a mob boss who wants to dominate? Sounds like a slight contradiction, to me.

But that only works on the vulnerable. I can turn on Fox now and hear them denigrating half of America. This happens all day, every day. You won't find CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, etc denigrating the conservative culture, all day, every day.
You'll soon learn the reason the republican elitists do this is to make it seem like the republican party are the lesser of 2 evils.
The elitists don't want you learning information that isn't establishment approved. That's why they demonize all media that isn't RW gossip. It's easier to control the message when your viewership immediately dismisses facts based on a royal brainwashing of the opposition.
    Propaganda goes after your emotions.

As long as you agree that all advertising of whatever kind from anyone is an attempt to brainwash, I'd allow that term. To me, it's advertising which by its nature is dramatic.

Thanks but watching political ads is about my least favourite pastime.

The encouraging thing is that there remain some real Republicans left, who have not sold their souls.

As the FUBARs multiply, one might hope that there would be a trickle of disenchanted Republicans to join them, especially if it starts to look as if Trump is going to lose in November. I have a feeling that if he loses he is going to become instantly radioactive: people will be desperately scrambling to dissociate themselves from him in order to have any future in politics at all. It could be rather an amusing spectacle.

Yes. He got himself diagnosed with "heel spurs", by a suitably chosen doctor, and was thus exempted from the draft, like a number of similarly well-heeled (haha) people.

There's a funny speech by Jim "Mad Dog" Mattis about it here:
Mattis mocks Trump at gala dinner

I suppose you must have a factual basis for your criticism. But what is it? Where did the ad get the facts wrong?

Whereas political adverts in colour with background muzak are fair and balanced?

Biden is not much to look forward to. But at least the forum debates can switch sides again with the offensive and defensive lines.

    Just like football.
