    Let's count our blessings!

    1. No physical illness.
    2. Recognize my hallucinations and delusions to prevent schizophrenia itself from doing much damage.
    3. Almost died many times but still here.
    4. Very smart.
    5. Very accomplished.
    6. Haven't done anything too bad.
    7. Have a lot of friends.
    8. Great ancestors.
    9. Inspire others.
    10. Not many intimate deaths.
    11. Your turn.

    11. Am poor but I work with my hands and hope to keep a broken heart and contrite spirit.

I could probably go on for days.

Being alive and in decent health at age 74
    Being married over 50 years.
    Having deep friends.
    Living in the USA.
Having a spiritual focus to my life.
    A wonderful dog.
    Volunteering doing fulfilling work.
Having saved a decent amount for my retirement.

    That's enough for now.
