The Bible should never be taken literally, because it’s not a book of facts it’s 66 books or a library of stories, folk law and myths
Scientifically, you need re-create the world many times till the process is predictable in order confirm that "how it was created". Before that we can't have a 100% answer about "what it is". We human may try our best to approach what brings a world to its current status, but our science won't be able to confirm "what it is". All we can do is to develop theories to try to explain what happened, however to a certain extent these theories are faith based.
As long as you can have more than one theories on something, it simultaneously means that either of them stands a 100% confirmed truth. The Big Bang Theory is not the only theory attempting to explain how our world is formed. It thus simultaneously means that it's not a confirmed truth! So in front of more than one theories where they all represent a possible truth, you thus need faith to believe which one represents "more" to be truth.

Based on genetic diversity, there's never been a human population bottleneck as low as any one alleged primordial couple such as Adam and Eve as depicted in the Bible or Koran, nor has there evidently been a population bottleneck as low as 8 persons as depicted in the Bible with Noah and his fellow 7 survivors of a worldwide flood as depicted in the Bible.
Based on human genetic diversity, there has always been an effective human population of around at least 10,0000 progenitors throughout any generation of human history.

If there were the most severe population bottle-necking such as one breeding pair that is portrayed in the case of the Biblical or Koranic Adam and Eve, then there would be a maximum of 4 alleles passed on by Adam and Eve to their children. Furthermore, the subsequent inbreeding would cause some loss of alleles due to genetic drifting. There would not have been genetic diversity in the small group of Adam, Eve and their children who would've had to commit incest among each other for the procreation of their inbred children. A lack of genetic diversity would have persisted for thousands of generations until genetic mutations could cause the genetic diversity of today's population. Based on the number of different alleles there are for the number of genes within the current population and the known rate of mutations per nucleotide sites in humans, geneticists can calculate the minimum number of people needed to create the current amount of genetic diversity. Numerous genetic studies suggest that there were several thousands of people more than two people during the most severe population bottleneck which ever occurred in human history.
DNA segments ( Alu repeats ) insert themselves at various chromosomal locations. There are various forms of Alu sequences and several thousand families of Alu. One of the worst tribulations that the earth has suffered in recent times occurred some 75,000 years ago with the Toba super eruption, which was a super volcanic eruption that occurred sometime between 69,000 and 77,000 years ago at Lake Toba (Sumatra Indonesia). It is recognised as one of earth’s largest eruptions.
Thousands of cubic kilometres of material would have been blasted out into the stratosphere blocking out the light all over the world, turning the sun and moon into huge blood red orbs and causing the earth’s temperature to drop some 21% and it would possibly have been a thousand years, before rainbows could form in our atmosphere again.
The related catastrophe theory holds that this event plunged the planet into a 6 to 10 year volcanic winter and possibly an additional 1,000 year cooling episode. This change in temperature resulted in the world’s proto-human population being reduced to 10,000 or even a mere 1,000 breeding pairs, creating a bottleneck in human evolution.
But that is not really your concern is it? You are more interested in how this particular age of man could have begun with one breeding pair.
It was in the sixth day, or the 6th period of universal activity that mankind was created. After all life on earth, which had been created on the 6th day had been destroyed and in the seventh period of universal activity, or the seventh day, the Lord to the Glory of EL the creator, took from the barren earth, genetic material which may have been frozen or preserved in someway and created the man who he named 'Adam.' Enoch the righteous, wrote that God created an eighth day also, so that it should be the first after his works, and it is a day eternal with neither hours, days, weeks, months or years, for all time is stuck together in one eon, etc, etc, and all who enter into the generation of the Light beings, are able to visit all those worlds that still exist in Space-Time, but not in our time.
A series of worlds following one upon the other-- each world rising a step higher than the previous world, so that every later world brings to ripeness the seeds that were imbedded in the former, and itself then prepares the seed for the universe that will follow it. This is the true resurrection in which all from the previous cycle of universal activity, who still have the judgmental war raging within them, are born again into the endless cycles of physical manifestation, or rebirths.
From the Book of Jubilees 4: 30; “And He (Adam) lacked seventy years of one thousand years; for one thousand years are as one day in the testimony of the heavens and therefore was it written concerning the tree of knowledge: ‘On the day thou eat thereof ye shall die.’ For this reason Adam did not complete the years of that first day; for He died during it.”
As Adam was dying at the closing of the first day, Eve asked her lord when she would follow him and she was told that that she would be reunited with him in 6 days time.
The Lord himself had the body of Adam preserved and laid in a stone sarcophagus then hidden inside a mountain in order that no one could do anything to that body until his rib has returned to him. Living cells from which to clone a new race of mankind.
It is at the close of the Great Sabbath of one thousand years, which is the reality of the weekly Sabbath and is the Day of the Lord, when he shall rule for that thousand years, that heavenly fire incinerates all physical life forms on this planet and Eve, who has become the human race is reunited with her Lord.
But we shall not all fall asleep in death, says Paul, for at the sound of the last trumpet, the elect ones shall be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye from bodies of corruptible matter, into bodies of Glorious and brilliant and blinding light.
It is in that thousand years of peace that all our resources will be used to prepare for the ultimate destruction of all physical life forms that remain on this planet. Knowing that which is to occur after the one thousand year Sabbath, when heavenly fire incinerate the surface of the earth, with the great wealth that will be paid in tribute by the nations of the world during that thousand year rule of our king and high priest, genetic banks of all physical life forms will be created, (The Ark) and sent to a place of safety in order that when the incinerated earth is once again able to sustain physical life forms, Plants will be planted, animals will be created anew, and when the system for the sustainability of mankind has been put in place, the Lord, our brother, king, and high priest will say, "And now, let us make man in our image and likeness." And a new and more humble Race of men will people this earth.
