The bible for Jews only?

Boring or not if something is important it should be for everyone

I think it would be readily apparent if it was important everybody follow this or that divinely handed down tradition or set of laws/guidelines.

Why can't we pick and choose and be available for all people?

Do you mean we should have every tradition readily available on a plate for people to pick and choose from?

If the bible is so good why did God give it only to the Jews?

Interesting question for someone who identifies as "Jewish".

The Bible was not written just for Jews. The scriptures are a written history of God's dealings with one family of people who all descended from a single man of faith. These became a large nation.
It outlines what God required of his "people" and what obligations each had in a unique partnership. Covenants bound God and Israel and the regulations governing these covenants formed the basis for the outcome.

God made a promise to Abraham that ALL nations would be blessed because of a seed who would come in this particular family line. Whilst God lived up to his end of the bargain, (an agreement that entailed each being faithful to a legally binding promise) the Israelites constantly fell away to worshipping false gods and breaking their promise to worship YHWH exclusively. True to his promise though, God eventually produced his seed (or savior) in the person of Jesus Christ, a son of David from the tribe of Judah, as it was foretold. (Gen 49:8-10)

It is through the teachings of this prophet that God now reaches out to people of ALL nations to invite them into his family. But the same rules apply...they must serve him alone and follow his directions carefully. (Jer 10:23; Ex 19:7, 8; 20:3)

He didn't. The Hebrews made the claim that they were God's chosen people. In other words, humans said that they were the chosen ones. How arrogant can you get?

God never came down from the cosmos, stood before the world and said, "these are my chosen people," in a loud, booming, multi-language voice. Besides, most stuff in the Bible was not meant to be taken literally anyway...including any claims that can't be verified.

Each ethnic group has their own teachings. The Jewish Torah got its importance inflated because of the rise of Christianity throughout the western world and Jesus came from and respected the Jewish tradition. Personally I think the most advanced spiritual understanding comes from India.

The New Testament was written for the Jews and Gentiles, for everyone, and was given to the Church.
The Old Testament was more for the Jews but the whole Bible is excellent for all Christians.
