May God bless, protect, and guide you through the truth
But of course, the truth is that spiders don't have wings and birds don't have four legs, cows don't have two legs and two arms, and humans don't have four legs. So saying "the spider taketh with her hands," is irrelevant because they don't have wings or arms, so it means nothing. And speaking metaphorically doesn't represent the truth.
Unless, of course we mean to take the bible literally, then obviously in Matthew 23:37......
“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together,
as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were not willing.
....means that birds have wings and proverbs 30:28 literally means that spiders have hands. So obviously we are taking "going on all fours" literally, which it means, going on all four legs and/or appendages. And how many appendages do insects have? Four or six?
May God bless you because guiding you through
special pleading can't protect you from the truth.
