The battle which saved Italy

The Ottoman Empire was determined to conquer Italy. They got their fleet sunk at Lepanto October 7. The victory was attributed to the Rosary. Before this Victory, many people thought the Ottoman Empire was unstoppable. The way the wind was blowing at that time gave the Crusaders an advantage.

More people died in this Naval engagement in one day than 7 years of the Revolutionary War dead on both sides.

"The Battle of Lepanto was a naval engagement that took place on 7 October 1571 where a fleet of the Holy League, led by the Venetian Republic and the Spanish Empire, inflicted a major defeat on the fleet of the Ottoman Empire in the Gulf of Patras. The Ottoman forces were sailing westward from their naval station in Lepanto (the Venetian name of ancient NaupactusΝαύπακτος, Ottoman İnebahtı) when they met the fleet of the Holy League which was sailing east from Messina, Sicily. The Holy League was a coalition of European Catholic maritime stateswhich were arranged by Pope Pius Vand led by John of Austria.

I'm glad the Turks never conquered Italy. They wanted it badly. The Moors conquered most of Spain for hundreds of years and were going to conquer France till they were defeated at the Battle of Tours. The Ottoman Empire also laid Siege to Vienna.

I'm glad they got their asses handed to them. Now they are conquering Europe through immigration and high birth rate.

History repeats itself. Right wing views on Immigration shall become survival instincts. It will become a non-negotiable stance for survival.

Even leftists are starting to come out and say that their policies on immigration were a mistake.

Christians taking up arms and fighting Islamic aggression was a necessary evil.

To this day, Italy does not recognize Islam as an actual "religion". Therefore, unlike christian churches, the mosques don't recieve the tax excempt status.

This is a really good battle map of the ottoman Turks Islamic conquests in comparison to the Crusades. A must see, IMO, which really puts things into perspective.
