The Ark was built by an amateur, the Titanic by professionals, evidence of Arc

Not to mention what involved in building a seaworthy wooden ship. Capacity aside, a wooden ark built to dimensions layed out in the bible would have been ripped apart due to load stress and the pitch and yaw encountered in deep seas.

Unless of course there are magical properties with the elusive "gopherwood" and some kind of super "low maintenance" pitch to contain the constant leaking common in wooden vessels.

Shhhhh...... no facts in here please :p

The Lost One
Every one and every beasts would have died from oxygen deprivation in such confinement like the Ark, especially if the waters rose higher than the highest mountains. Just because the water rise, it would change the attitude and air pressure; it would still be like climbing at high attitude where the air is very thin. There wouldn't be enough air for every creature to breath.

And beside that it would be freezing cold.

The Earth's atmosphere doesn't change just because water supposedly rose higher than mountains for only half a year.

Literal creationists just don't understand science.

Geologists have found sidimentary deposits throughout the world with fossilized remains of animals and plants, oftentimes from different geological, climatic areas of the world, indicator of a world wide flood.

A possible way this occured was with a shift in the axis of the earth due to a comet or astroid. The oceans would overflow the land. It would also cause volcanic activity that would cause dust then condensation and precipitation, a cloud canopy.

In 1972 Nassa launched a satalite. As it circled the earth it photographed Noah's arc.

"Geologists have found sidimentary deposits throughout the world with fossilized remains of animals and plants, oftentimes from different geological, climatic areas of the world, indicator of a world wide flood."

Yes from Plate tectonics. The entire continents move on plates and cometogether every 400 million years. Its also what forms most MTs and volcanoes. Has nothing to do with a Global flood.

"A possible way this occured was with a shift in the axis of the earth due to a comet or astroid."

There not big enough to shift the earth's axis. Again this has already been explained and proven by plate techtonics and confirmed with Global positioning satellites and the US navy mapping the ocean floors in the 60's.

Which is why we have the Pacific Rim of Fire.

"A look at the Pacific Ring of Fire -- the largest region of volcanic activity on Earth, that stretches around the Pacific Ocean from New Zealand, to Japan, to the Aleutians and down through the Andes mountain range of South America."

There have also been five mass extintion events on Earth.

Ordovician-Silurian mass extinction
The third largest extinction in Earth's history, the Ordovician-Silurian mass extinction had two peak dying times separated by hundreds of thousands of years. During the Ordovician, most life was in the sea, so it was sea creatures such as trilobites, brachiopods and graptolites that were drastically reduced in number.
Late Devonian mass extinction
Three quarters of all species on Earth died out in the Late Devonian mass extinction, though it may have been a series of extinctions over several million years, rather than a single event. Life in the shallow seas were the worst affected, and reefs took a hammering, not returning to their former glory until new types of coral evolved over 100 million years later.
Permian mass extinction
The Permian mass extinction has been nicknamed The Great Dying, since a staggering 96% of species died out. All life on Earth today is descended from the 4% of species that survived.
Triassic-Jurassic mass extinction
During the final 18 million years of the Triassic period, there were two or three phases of extinction whose combined effects created the Triassic-Jurassic mass extinction event. Climate change, flood basalt eruptions and an asteroid impact have all been blamed for this loss of life.
Cretaceous-Tertiary mass extinction
The Cretaceous-Tertiary mass extinction - also known as the K/T extinction - is famed for the death of the dinosaurs. However, many other organisms perished at the end of the Cretaceous including the ammonites, many flowering plants and the last of the pterosaurs.

It has not rained in parts of the Atacama desert in chile for 23 million years. A type of rock there called "Gypsum rock" melts in water. An exposed outcrop there has not been exposed to enough water to melt the rock in 23 million years. The desert is 150 million years old and formed by plate techtonic, with the pacific plate pushing agaisnt the South American plate.

"
Driest Place on Earth

The Atacama desert is considered the driest place on Earth. Since human records of the area began, some places have never received rain. But the records don't stop there--the Atacama is also the oldest desert in the world, and recently it has been dated to an amazing 150 million years old. Other research shows that the surface of this desert is also incredibly ancient, with boulders lying there that have not moved for over 23 million years--more than 50 times longer than it's taken for our human species to evolve. The soil is so dry, it has been used as a test bed for the Mars rovers. And though the desert was once thought to be completely lifeless, strange bacteria discovered there have given scientists new hope that they might find life on the red planet. Atacama is also home to the largest copper mine in the world. Inspect the riddle of the Atacama and uncover how this extraordinarily dry landscape was created. "

Geologic Proof there was no global flood, in fact there is a ton of proof.

WE have also used Paleoclimitology and ice core samples going back a million years that tell us how much it rained, what gases were in the atmophere, even volcanic ash and more, including oxygen.

Nasa

"
To pry climate clues out of the ice, scientists began to drill long cores out of the ice sheets in Greenland and Antarctica in the late 1960s. By the time Alley and the GISP2 project finished in the early 1990s, they had pulled a nearly 2-mile-long core (3,053.44 meters) from the Greenland ice sheet, providing a record of at least the past 110,000 years. Even older records going back about 750,000 years have come out of Antarctica. Scientists have also taken cores from thick mountain glaciers in places such as the Andes Mountains in Peru and Bolivia, Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, and the Himalayas in Asia."

"The ice cores can provide an annual record of temperature, precipitation, atmospheric composition, volcanic activity, and wind patterns. In a general sense, the thickness of each annual layer tells how much snow accumulated at that location during the year. Differences in cores taken from the same area can reveal local wind patterns by showing where the snow drifted. More importantly, the make-up of the snow itself can tell scientists about past temperatures. As with marine fossils, the ratio of oxygen isotopes in the snow reveals temperature, though in this case, the ratio tells how cold the air was at the time the snow fell. In snow, colder temperatures result in higher concentrations of light oxygen. (See The Oxygen Balance.)

No global flood for a fact. There is a ton more evidence all over the world there was never a flood.

It was probably a localized flood in Mesopotamia written by the Sumerians first.

Try building an ark now exactly like the orginal and put a bunch of animals full to capacity and have it insured by Loyd's of London and take it out into the middle of the pacific and see how well it floats.

All of the "we found the ark" stories have been debunked years ago. The nasa satellites found a 'rock'. Not the ark. Not one is crediable.

Twilight Hue

Twilight, not bright nor dark, good nor bad.
To date I have never seen Christians go ahead and build an actual wooden ark to specs and field test it in the ocean for the ascribed duration.
