God is present on the earth today and he has the Truth. Daniel 8:12. "...and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practiced and prospered". Daniel 9:13. "As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet made we not our prayer before the Lord our God, that we may turn from our iniquities, and understand thy truth". The problem is that humankind doesn't believe it. Only 3% of people will survive the Day of Judgment. Isaiah 24:6. All the wicked/guilty will be cut off by fire.

Yes, they see it as the antidote to their fear of not knowing (no control). But it's a phony solution, like a drug that makes you think everything is good while in actuality you're spiraling into the abyss.

Not really sure why its relevante with the "any action" thing. If you knew the truth about all the things you mention. It should be extremely easy to convince others, as you would be able to come up with proofs or theories one after another, even if you knew nothing about math, physics, biology etc. you would be able to get hold of any group of competent scientists and explain to them how things works and they could come up with all the data for you. You would also easily be able to identify where we can see God in all this and why science wouldn't be able to answer them.

So I don't think the "any action" is needed as you would be able to do it through simple explanations.

This is "my" truth, though I think it is everyone's but have no way to have any certainty about it.

Consciously, we have no direct access to to reality, the absolute truth. The "truth" that we experience is a product of the unconscious mind which is a facsimile of reality based on it's evolutionary programming. Because of that, the truth we actually experience is flexible. It can include anything the unconscious is capable of producing as an experience, including gods, divine/spiritual experiences, pretty much anything one is willing to consciously invest enough belief into.

I see our basic goal as survival, for as long as we can manage it. Whatever helps us towards that goal is all good.

So while our unconscious may have access to reality, consciously we never will. So might as well make the best of the situation and try to experience whatever "reality" will bring us the most happiness.

A subjective, hypothetical claim and not remotely based on an objective truth from the human perspective, and based on a limited ancient cultural worldview..

Now, I did say detect the presence of god,
just "god", the Supreme but that is all you did.

Kinda like the ant detects new york but
does not know anything about it.

IF it happened to be the Christian god,
and all is as some say, there'd be no choice
but to devote all my energy to trying to
spread the word and save who I could.

I kind of doubt the sincerity of Christians
    who make no detectable effort.

That is a big difference between a culture of
faith and a culture of doubt.

In my experience, one does require a certain amount of competence in any field to be able to understand the explanation. This competence may takes years to gain and any number of folks you may run into people may have no interest in putting the effort into gaining that competence. I find there are also a number of folks who will not accept they lack the necessary competence.

So what would you do with the people who are basically incapable of understanding the truth? Leave them behind? Or enforce a set of rules designed to save them despite their lack of competence in understanding the truth?

Its easy for us humans to be fooled. Experience has knowworthy things about it. And the flipside is experience has a lot of gaps in understanding reality.

    Reality has a few knowables.

Well, knowable with a great deal of reliability, thanks to science. Still I see it as indirect knowledge. Deduced through the process of science which is constantly refining itself.

Sure. Lotsa action. I'd make sure many people knew about it. I would charge each person as much money as I thought they could afford.

Once I had amassed about $1 Billion, I'd buy a small South Pacific island and stock it with a continually rotating group of 4-5 willing females.

Daily, Morning, Noon and Night, I'd thank God for imparting such great knowledge to me.

In my experience, God is present on the earth today. Fairies exist. Past lives are a reality. Nature is full of spiritual beings to interact with. The Perfect Master, AKA Jesus is alive and well and living in the United States at this very moment. A bush can be on fire and not be consumed by the fire.

All of these things I have personally experienced. They are part of the reality I have experienced. They are truths I can claim. Just don't ask me to prove any of them.

I suppose it depends on who is giving and who is receiving, but I guess mainly doubting the sincerity of a person who is sincere about their sincerity.
