That's a Lie

Thief

Rogue Theologian
True sevice to self is service to others, true service to others is service to self

In every truth there is a lie and in every lie there is truth

seems to me ( and no doubt you have noticed)
a true statement spoken to confuse and redirect......is a deception

not a lie

or is it?

Godel, Escher, Bach. This book can blow your mind, but the general thing it points out is that some things are true in one context and false in another. For example: "This statement is a lie."

and the serpent in the garden did not lie.....

To me "the garden" is "being one with God"
The "serpent" in this context is the kundalini
The "Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil" is judgments

Judgments obstructs Kundalini flow
Hence Jesus exhorts "do not judge"

so...picture yourself as Eve
yes you can

the Spirit says.....do not eat of this
for in the day that you do.....you will die

and then a serpent tells you.....nay
you will not die
you will become as heaven

not exact quotes.....as they very from one edition to another , anyway
and the notation of 'serpent' .....speaks of character
not form

what say ye to this?

I will choose who to trust. Trust is the keyword. And, afterwards I choose, I will face the consequences.

Loving God and my neighbor as myself.
To me the garden is simply the state of innocence held by a toddler or perhaps a pet dog. There is no moral sentience. A toddler knows if they throw their food they will get into trouble, but they have no real idea what right and wrong is. In the garden, we were still creatures of nature 100%, guided only by our instincts.

Then we ate of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and became morally sentiient. IOW, we grew up. We evolved.
