Tax the rich? Executives predict Biden’s big plans will flop (msn.com)

They believe they have enough support from moderate Democrats to kill any major tax increases on the rich.

It appears the moderate Democrats will hold some kind of middle ground between the progressives and conservatives.

They expect that Biden will have to agree to a smaller infrastructure deal.

It still looks like it will be a fight, as progressives are digging in and would likely reject the more moderate proposals.

If that comes true it is just one other point of evidence that the US is not governed by the President or Congress, but by the money elite and that they are willing to risk a revolution for holding on to their money.

As long as they won't tax the 1% Super Rich Elite, the Rich Elite won't object

Here is the kicker: If the USA doesn't increase taxes on the rich, almost no one else can. This is the sort of thing that influences everyone in the world.

Of course. The wealthy are the power holders in this country. Do people actually think for a minute the elites are prepared to spend a single penny of their accumulated wealth for the lower classes?

How dense does a person need to be to not realize this?

Biden, like any other politician, is just telling people what they want to hear to just get votes. Nobody was ever serious about the wealthy paying for any of it at the start.

Once this fails like its going to, the burden once again will fall on the middle class, or what's left of the middle class to foot the bill. The Democrats will say something to the effect, "Oh well we tried" like they always do and simply wait until next election cycle to do it all over again with people lapping it all up like a thirsty dog at the water bowl.

Why would anyone be surprised? The US was declared an oligarchy years ago.
