The problem is that they do tarnish the whole group. That is how people think It is why white supremacists are called out constantly by reasonable conservatives (and there are such creatures). It is why those on the left that are not insane do the same for antifa. It is why Islam is often criticized, because the higher Muslim bodies do not go after Muslim terrorists (a very small percentage of all Muslims).. One needs to clean ones own house, or at least try to, to have any legitimate complaints about others.

Basically why I preach that the Dems and Liberals need to curb stomp the Snowflake Liberals.
