Yes the mystic is there for sure in sufism.I dabbled in Sufism a few years back, and it's not really humanist. Its tenets revolve around the belief in Islam that Allan is the one alone that exists forever. The rituals and such are what differ, and what make it more of a mystical ''form'' of Islam.
I do not know what form of sufism you looked in to, because there are different "schools" within sufi teachings
Humanistic in the way OP was meant was to say to love every human and be there for anyone who needs you (the sufi) and do it selflessly. Allah to a sufi is found in a path within our own being, and should not be forced on to others
