It's "yodleena" which is mentioned in Quran...And yodleena means "pour" or putting it from the top of the body...which is referring to headscarfs

in arabic 1 word has so many meanings hijaab does refer to headscarf but it is usually refered to covering
im sorry but im refering to sister laila , the hair is the womens satr and how can you be a practising muslimah if you dont practice what the quraan tells you to do read surah noor ch. 24 v. 30-31
the least a woman should in front of non mahram si cover whole body except hands and face

im sorry sisters but you go to any muslim scholar he will tell you to cover you hair as a hadeeth mentioned in abu dawood says that the prophet(saw) say the older sister of aisha(r.anha) and commanded her to cover her hair

Why do so many Muslim women reduce their faith to headscarves? In my opinion it's a tradition/custom but it has nothing to do with the religion itself nor is it a proof for religiousity.
