    Not yours.
Let's face it, that's the dilemma I have with Democrat voters. They absolutely don't pick anything they just mindlessly vote for the party guy (or gal) whoever that is. The would-be President in absentia responsible for a life-destroying crime bill that ruined the lives of countless African-American families, or it's willing enforcer Kamala Harris. Peas-in-a-pod examples of the systematic injustice that the left is always on about.

If I were a leftist myself I'd vote for neither of these guys as they're totally incompatible with progressive values, and no "just beating Trump" isn't valid here. Neither of these people is capable of beating Trump, IMHO, ever. Not because Trump is especially wonderful, but that they carry all the weight of your average Ponzi-scheme purveyor. Trump, in comparison, is nearly unchanging and just the same neo-con type guy he's been since whatever. Agreeable or not, he's consistent, but the Dem leadership thinks they can just jump around and switch their ideology on a dime. That's just not how it works folks...

It doesn't seem Alice Cooper is running for president this time around, though he has every election since 1972. This concerns me... Is he well?

Actually I dont have to decide. Pence and Trump hate me, they hate my community, they hate other minorities, they hate immigrants, they have to go.

He didnt run in 2016 but he did present a caricature of both Clinton and Trump and he encouraged his audience to vote (it was a good show - he always does put on a hella great show). And Alice 2020 is blasphemy. Its properly Alice for Life!:p

Your generalization and extreme views are questionable considering the alternatives.

Actually Democratic voters do mindlessly vote for the party. Sometimes I wish they did. Voter qpathy, division, and demands for idealistic candidates lead to low voting percentages than the Republicans that vote in larger percentage for the party line despite things like: rampent racism, immorality, and extreme right views. The problem is exemplified by the wide support and endorsement of Marjorie Taylor Greene, a racist, extreme right conspiracy theorist, by Trump and will likely be a Congresional Representative. To boot how do you explain Trump's endorsement of Dr. Stella Emmanuel.

Actually 'Just beating Trump' is not a bad goal, considering the Right wing conservative nature of his emperor style government. that endorses extremist racists like Stephan Miller as a part of the White House administration. Also consider Trunp's love affair and adoration of Putin, and riduling neglect of the COVID-19 pandemic. .

I would vote for Donald Trump for the Javalin catcher at the next Olympics.

I don't know if he means anything, but I just saw a Biden
commercial wherein he opposes bailing out big corporations.
So would he let the airlines, & other large employers just
die off? This would result in massive job loss, not easily
made up during recovery. Large companies don't form &
expand overnite. Is he serious or pandering?
If the former, he's dangerous...perhaps more than Trump.

Its been that way in New York for as long as I remember.

People never research. They just automatically vote for whomever reflects their political side.

That is how our democratic system works. It is unfortunate that we have a two party system, but it is better than Russua and China, and many other countries of the world.

At least I got some wine when they systematically destroy this country.

I think blind voting has done a tremendous amount of damage. Its why we are in this situation today.

I can think of a lot worse than condemning the falible human excentricities of making choices. At least we have a choice and a voice, many do not have the choice.

It is unlikely that any on person including the President can destroy the country, but Trump made Herculian effort.

If it happens it will be religious tribalism, racism, and etreme claims of the radical right and left.

It's a question of a mediocre President vs. a terrible one. That's not mindless, it's common sense.

Your sudden concern for progressive values is heartwarming, really, but I think us progressives can take it from here, thanks. ;)

I call BS on the negative comments on Democrats in this thread. The real mindless voters are the ones who voted for trump last time and will do it again ignoring his dismantling of our system of government, open corruption, favoritism to dictators, immorality, dog whistling racists and anti-semites, destroying the American economy, promoting MY DEATH by his COVID-19 lunacy, seeking to destroy my health care (Medicare) and retirement (Social Security) and so forth.

We all had our favorites during the primary and my top choices did not win. Biden is a decent person and will do a great job as POTUS. Harris is fully qualified to take over if necessary.

Of course I don't agree with everything they want. HELLO. The world is not organized the way I like. I got over it a long time ago.

Believe a politician's promises? I stopped doing that decades ago.

Believe in the continuation of their track record? Count me in.

Progressives hating progressives now? Harris has a more progressive voting record than Bernie. Seems some here are repeating RW talking points.

You need to raise some actual specific reasons why Democrats should not vote for Biden+Harris.
Trump does not believe in global warming, has no regard for the environment or WHO or UN. He disregards scientific advice. That's why one should not vote for Trump, among many others.

Your response makes zero sense in context of what SW said. How does discriminating against LGBT people show they don't have time for "trifling people"?

Thanks, conservatives. Really appreciate your sincere concern that we shouldn't vote for Biden because ... you're worried he won't implement our progressive values. LOL!

Please ... the OP sounds like the setup to one of Aesop's Fables. This must be the one where a wolf or fox is giving advice to a hen, or something. I think I know the ending and the moral already. ;)

Yes I intend to vote for Biden and no I don't particularly care how progressive he is. Donald Trump - America's nightmare dystopian answer to the question, "Can anyone be anything in this country?" - has made the decision very easy for me.

More than pushing my own personal political agenda, I care, for the greater good of our country, that a functioning adult instead of a wannabe dictator is near the nuclear football. I would vote for any of the recent Republican candidates, if it meant telling Trump "You're fired!" This includes John McCain, Mitt Romney or heck, even John Kasich.

How you can accuse Democrats of mindlessly voting for their candidate when Republicans are going to vote for a guy even Lindsay Graham called a "xenophobic, race-baiting bigot", Ted Cruz called "a pathological liar" and tore him to shreds, the GOP's last candidate Mitt Romney literally voted to impeach him, and the GOP candidate before that John McCain wouldn't even allow him at his funeral. Wow. The MAGA lemmings mindlessly follow a swamp monster who is objectively terrible for the country and everyone they used to love, knows it ... yet you have the audacity to accuse those who vote against Trump "mindless"? Bold, my friend.

It's time to put America first. Ditch Trump 2020.
