Yup, fun isn't it, to get your point across without being a jerk. It's one of the things that makes RF such an entertaining place to hang out.

If they literally applied to everyone (and I'm assuming you mean in every post) everybody would have been banned by now.

Feedback-where those rules are so ambiguois?
So in other words what you're saying is, "if I make no attempt to understand the rules or how they're enforced, I can claim persecution later when I break them and get penalized for it".

Only to those bullying or proselytizing.... Otherwise those two are the easiest to avoid.
The toughest one is the 'wear pants when you post' rule.
Although I could never work out why that one was PMed directly to me by @Quagmire rather than just being on the normal list.
