Not really for children though...maybe teenagers.
It offers a number of reasonable questions that someone who chose to actually think about, "what would it be like to be these characters in this Biblical story?" Another awesome question, "How would I know if it were happening to me?"
I could see this work as an excellent basis for a discussion of pro and anti faith perspectives.
