Many popular Easter customs have origins tracing back to pre-Christian festivals centered around the equinox. Modern Pagans celebrate Ostara, which honors the renewal of life that comes with spring. How much do you know about the spiritual history of the spring equinox?

heh... I only got 4... :oops:
but then I'm only 'pagan' because I'm not in any other of the catigorys.
European tradition isn't my strong point. :wink:

American Natives didn't celebrate the changing of the seasons as much as Europeans... Although we obviously were thrilled that the seasons of plenty were aproaching :)
Closest I can think of are the planting cerimonies we held, for those tribes that were farmers.

oooh, 7/10. guess i am more buddhist than pagan as well!! But then again, I did study Zen alot more than european paganism.
