I wasn't referring to "trinitarianism", just the fact that the JW's are just another Christian denomination. Nor do you "stand alone" any more than any other denomination as each denomination tends to believe that it is more correct than all the other denominations.
JW's are nothing to do with Christendom, metis. We hold no beliefs in common with any of their churches, whereas denominations in Christendom hold most of the same core doctrines in common. They only differ on relatively minor issues. We have no trinity, no immortal soul, no hell of eternal fiery torment, no images (including crosses) used in our worship, no ritual, no repetitious prayers, no fancy dress or funny hats, no paid clergy, no hierarchy or rank. We do not resemble them in any way.
This is a complete separation because this is what was foretold for "the last days".....the "wheat" would not resemble the "weeds" at all come the "harvest time".....and Jesus already said that "few" would be on the road to life. (Matthew 7:13-14) "The good news of the Kingdom" was to be preached in all the world as a "witness to all the nations" before the foretold "end" was to come. (Matthew 24:14) Who are out preaching an unpopular message in all the world.....and who are seen to be 'hated and persecuted' for doing nothing more than Jesus and his apostles did? (John 15:18-21) Yet despite all that we continue to grow. (Isaiah 2:2-4)
We will not participate in violence or raise anything but our voices for what we believe in. You will not find JW's in jail for being convicted criminals unless they have broken God's laws unrepentantly....which means that they cease to be JW's at that point.
We, as Adam's descendants are not more perfect than anyone else, but you will not find a global body of Christians more obedient to the laws of God and the teachings of his Christ than we are. If all the world's inhabitants were JW's there would be no crime or violence, no war or bloodshed, no hate or political corruption, no retribution and no raping of the earth for financial gain. Can the same be said for RCC or any other denomination in Christendom metis?
