No. Your consciousness form as you grow older and access the word and people youre around. The awareness goes when the brain dies.

What is consciousness apart from our brain and mind?

Can nothing have consciousness? How should we test it...

Can consciousness devise a way of bringing itself into existence from nothing?

so you're implying that the transceiver is capturing information from it's surroundings, downloading it, translating it, and then it disappears? so all information ceases to exist; so then how did something come from nothing to begin with?

so when a piece of the hologram is destroyed the hologram is destroyed?

you're implying, like some scientists, that information arises from nothing. that humans created consciousness, knowledge with their brains

I dont understand the second part; but...

Say you're a toddler and you are starting develop language and meanful behavior in relation to people and your environment. You become consciously aware of what affects you and your bring interprets these things as being either X or why. As external stimili start to be explained by language the awareness to create understanding of language.
Yes. It does all of that. I wouldnt say it disappears. Its just ongoing like 0s and 1s dont disapear when doing computer language. Once the computer is broke, so is the PC that translate language. Our brains are like computers. They are the same. No metaphysics about it.

We've evolved all kinds of things, maybe from nothing or maybe not. Consciousness just seems weird because we use it to think about consciousness. No way around that.

languages are a form of an idea. there can be an infinite number of language forms expressing an idea. the idea looks different but the idea is being expressed differently. the idea doesn't change, the form does. the information is still there the form it takes isn't. the consciousness is still there. the form it takes isn't.

so how you capture, download, translate, upload is different. the information remains the same. the no-hiding theorem says that information, knowledge cannot be created, or destroyed, its simply transferred somewhere else, or appears in another system/form

this is when you have self awareness. instead of reacting to something, you question it. you see, by understanding, or the inner light the abstract and the concrete, you see the consciousness and the outward form it takes

Something from nothing implies at some point there is no cause and effect. Pop!, its there.
