Any fans of The Expanse here?
It's more political & more sci fi than either of those 2 sci fantasy franchises.
And the acting is far far better.

An interesting feature is that the Martians are accustomed to less gravity.
The Belters are accustomed to no gravity at all.
Caution....a torture scene....

I LOVE THE EXPANSE AND NEED TO FINISH WATCHING IT I'M ON LIKE SEASON 3 I NEED THE BOOKS ALSO. LET'S GOOOO!!!

I never watched much of Trek or Star Wars so I have no idea what they're like really.

When i was a child, yeah, and young adult too but not so much now. Although ill still watch sci-fi on occasion.

Dedicated sci fi addicts will watch every piece of crap offered.
I even watch Star Trek Discovery.
(One joy is carping about what a train wreck it is.)
Even @Shadow Wolf will watch the travesties from Jar Jar Abrams.

I really loved Battle Start Galactica. Watched a first few episodes of expanse, but have not gone beyond that yet.

I watched it. I'm no fan of anything, but it was enjoyable. I didn't get bored watching it. Rarely did I feel it was tedious or anything like that.

I'm increasingly easy to bore, and that is troubling. I tend to prefer watching something I've already enjoyed to trying something new. I don't want to try things out so much. They all look the same: same covers, same same. I think something is wrong with my enjoy button.
