Social Experiment on Immigration

Let's make believe that the United States has become a Socialist / Capitalist system where we start all over again with our money. In this experiment we have 400 million people and everyone is given a million dollars each of new money. The old money is taken away and every one's possessions where collected by the government, (Purex will like this one). We all start over equally.

Should we leave the border open and allow more folks to enter? Let's say we do. suppose 400 million more folks come here and now each of us are required to write a check for 1/2 million to all our new arrivals. Would everyone be fine with that?

You see with this experiment, the government cannot print any more money except when we need to replace the old money. There will never be any more extra spending either. Everyone will be taxed at the same rate and all governments federal, state and local will have to balance their budgets and will not be allowed to spend money we do not have.

There will not be any wellfare. Everyone has their own money and will be responsible for their own lives. No more class envy, no more unlevel playing field or glass ceiling.

How about it, should we let outsiders in to share the wealth?

What would America be like in 10 years?

Why do we have to use money for anything then. Everybody in the US is responcible for themselves. They run the stores build the cars because they want to you go to a store take what you want of need and then live happily. Instead of giving everyone the same amount of money which after 1 day would be unequal. Let everyone take what they want. Immigrants no problem work for the government get what you want.

It would probably stop immigration because most immigrants want money to take home and live a better life home. It would be hard to take enough food or a home back to your country.

Based on its definition I would have to say I am against capitalism. I consider it forced salvery of the lower class by means of hope. Example would be if you work hard and perform you can suceed.
