So what's with Rick Perry?

After boost from Perry, backers got huge gas deal in Ukraine

After Trump and Ukrainian President Zelenskiy's first phone call (not the "I need a favor though" one) where Zelenskiy urges Trump to come to his upcoming inauguration, Trump ends up not going and initially plans to send VP Pence. But at a late hour, Pence is told not to go with no public announcement of a reason. Instead, then Sec. of Energy Rick Perry goes to Zelensky's inauguration, and at a later meeting hands him a list of "people he recommended as energy advisers" who just happen to be Rick Perry's political donors.

And lo and behold, a month later one of those donors is awarded a 50-year oil and gas contract in Ukraine!

Um.......o_O

Think about this for a second....after Zelenskiy is elected, he calls Trump and lets him know that he really, really would like Trump to be at his inauguration. Trump basically says...maybe. Then at the last minute he pulls back on Pence going and sends Perry instead, and while there Perry gives Zelenskiy a list of his political donors to consider as "energy advisers".

This is also happening while Ukraine "was seeking military aid from the United States to defend against Russian aggression and allies of President Donald Trump were ramping up efforts to get the Ukrainians to investigate his Democratic rival Joe Biden".

Also, "testimony in the impeachment inquiry into Trump shows the energy secretary was one of three key U.S. officials who were negotiating a meeting between Trump and the Ukrainian leader".

As the AP article notes, "The sequence of events suggests the Trump administration’s political maneuvering in Ukraine was entwined with the big business of the energy trade."

Gee....ya think?

How corruption works is now visible for those with "eyes to see".

Really? Let's ask Kurt Volker about that, while keeping in mind that Volker was a witness called by Republicans...

Kurt Volker: I rejected Rudy Giuliani's conspiracy theory on Joe Biden - CNN Video
Did little Biden not earn $50,000 + per month for four meetings per year, not speaking Ukrainian, and with no knowledge of the gas industry, working for a corrupt company. Great work if you can get it.

Of course, this wonderful job had absolutely nothing to do with daddy Biden being the vice president, and in charge of Ukraine policy, all a pure coincidence.

Trump was never going. The VP didn't as Ukraine gave 4 days notice so the SS couldn't set up. Watch the hearing. This was all covered.

Correlation does not equal causation.

I have no doubt that Hunter Biden got that job due to his family name. Burisma was apparently seeking to improve their credibility, and having VP Joe Biden's son on the board would help in that regard (since Joe Biden is known for his anti-corruption efforts).

Do you have any evidence that Joe Biden used his office to influence Burisma to hire his son?
