I feel that i haven't talked to you guys for a while and i don't know why but in some way i've missed you and missed talking with you. Maybe i wanted to see all of us contributing in one thread, i don't know why also i am feeling that we haven't done this for a long time.

The last time i pmed Peace was...maybe a month ago or more. I also haven't seen Maro here lately (i wonder how she is doing). Einstien pops up once a year :slap: the same for Mujahid and Champion. The Truth is posting rarely nowadays. Jameasi doesn't participate much here. Our new Muslim RFer Lecter "The Fundamentalist :D" has lost his thrill or something. There are some new comers but it seems they prefer the debate area. I consider Ayani as one of us so i hope she is doing well. Cordoba works on his threads as usual.
FVM, talked to her a few hours ago but this doesn't mean i don't miss her also.
Who's left? Oh, yeah [IMG] ... no one is actually left except not4me! I remember that i started a thread entitled "Ramadan Thoughts" in which i intended to post a lot, lot of thoughts, you know, but something wrong happened.

So, how are you all doing?
How are you doing with RF these days?

There is something i am sure of that there is a lot of stuff that we didn't discuss at Islam Forum or we didn't focus on much and we should have and i need you to help me to make a list of these things that we could discuss in the near future.....some ideas will be great.

I'm still alive! Just busy with exams and stuff. Hmmm I think we need some new topic ideas in here, so that people would start posting again. How are you not4me, and how is Ramadan treating you? I'm beginning to miss food! :p One thing we could discuss is what is wrong with lots of us Muslims today, and what can we do to correct those things.

How are you not4me, i hope you are doing fine. I like it when you pop up and surprise us with new things we should consider. I think of you as the dynamic factor which hold all of us together in here. :)

I'm just like Lecter, busy with my exams, and i always come to Islam DIR to check for any new posts but i see none. I guess we should cooperate in this thread to make a list of some new ideas we should discuss about.

I agree with Lecter idea, but i'm so hungry to think of ideas of my own right now. :D So i might come later on to add to the list.

I hope others will come in here and help us.

She is isn't she? not4me is quite the little glue that holds us together :)

You know she is right as well. I feel like the ramadan thread died. Is ayani still fasting? I wouldn't know cuz I ain't posted in that thread for a while, and haven't pm her for a couple weeks too. For shame FVM.......

Anyway I'm doing good. I've been trying to look for threads I can post in tha don't make me angry upon sight, but that's hard to do. Either that or they're just plain boring. Lava don't post in here, I mmiss talking to maesi, moegypt don''t really post here.

I was thinkinf of a project though. I wanted to start a thread and sticky it, about shariah. lIke not an interpretation of shariah but the rules themselves in black and white so we can all refer to them. I actually have a shariah book, it's abridged but still, I could start there and start posting it. I'm tired of the same old rehashed, dead, stinkin, arguments against misconceptions on shariah rules. I feel it high time we put up those rules for people to see, so that even when they reject and disagree with them, they can do so from a knowledge base rather than assumptions. What ya'll think about that? If I start it will you help me? Truth would you sticky it if I start it?

If it doesn't exclude any other sect, why not, but i'll make a double check with the mod team to know if it was possible.

For now, you go a head and start with it because we really really need it.

Thank you my sweetheart Sahar (not4me) for this thread and for asking about us. I don't post regularly because work has been sooooooo busy and when I get back home I have other duties to do... you know it's Ramadan and we should seize the opportunity to benefit from this blessed month and double our good deeds.. extra payers, reading the Quran ......
Hope you are doing well too and all my sisters and brothers here in RF! May Allah unite us all  and increase our iman and grant us the company of our beloved Prophet salla Lah `alaihi we sallam!
May Allah bless these remaining days of Ramadan and grant us the strength to double our good deeds more and more in the last 10 days of Ramadan, the days of `itq mina annar (freedom from hellfire), ameeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen!!!!!

BTW, sister Hakimah FVM's idea about shari`ah is great, I thought of that before, also if any one of us has a question about matters related to our deen to ask it and to try to find together what Islam says about that matter.

    Your sister Peace :)

Exactly and i think it needs many many threads to discuss the "wrong" with Muslims and how we left our beautiful religion behind us and absolutely focusing on how to correct is very important.

Great idea! But i also think it's important to make them understand that "Shari'a" doesn't only mean the penalties of theft, adultery....etc but it's the system that governs our lives; starting from how to wear our clothes and how to sleep to the issue of politics and the government. It's the second aspect of Islam.
Also, it's important to talk about flexibility of the Islamic Shari'a. I think we may start a topic on this part someday.

Oh you start preparing the Eid cookies so early dear sister. We make it just in one day, a day or a two before Eid, and sometimes we just buy it to save time :D
But don't be sad dear sis while preparing ka'k al Eid because you are helping your mom and you will be rewarded for that and also you can gain more reward if you do some dhikr while preparing the cookies and thus your time won't be wasted in vain, on the contrary it will be blessed :)
I missed you too my dearest sweet sister

    Peace

    Hmmmm....
Well...this is a must here in Eid and we call it "kahk", which i wrote it ka7k (you see this "7" between letter "a" and "k", the number seven we use it to substiute the letter ح
as it doesn't have any equivalent in English when we talk Arabic through english letters...lol...what am i saying??!! Ehm..anyway)
    This is another type:
    We call it "betefoor".

    Biscuits....

    "ghorayyiba"....

I don't know about Morocco, maybe the same or differs a little...Peace can tell us about it.
So, did you eat these things before FVM? :D

Yeah you all love to eat, and you like to make other people eat. I remember I was visiting in detroit and there was a wedding at the time. I had to eat at every house I went to, and I don't say that lightly. I was MADE TO EAT. Cuz when I was full I would be like 'no thank you' and then the whole room would just freeze and look at me. If looks could kill I'd be dead. I sheepishly sat down to eat. I was so full you could bounce boulders off my stomach. Paki's are like that as well. I think it's kinda cute, but it can be intimidating sometimes.
