Vanakkam everyone,
I would like to ask a question to the knowledgable followers of Sanatana Dharma, regarding Shyama Tulsi. It's the darker kind of Tulsi, and I have read on the wikipedia article that Shyama Tulsi garlands is the favorite offering to Sri Hanuman.
I have also read from Vikraman Swamij that Betel leafs garlands are actually favorite offerings to Sri Hanuman....Jasmine and Tulsi are second to the offering of Betel leafs.
As a Shiva devotee I have high regards on Hanuman and consider Him as Shiva. It's currently impossible for me to grow betel here, but I can grow Tulsi !
But I would like to know if offering of this Tulsi is okay for Sri Hanuman and Mahadev ? If not, any suggestions ?
