If that were to be the case, then no comic could ever say much of anything. Heck, even Bob Hope would have been in a world of trouble with his political humour.
Maybe her laughter sorta give this away-- ya know, like when her mouth is turned up like this

What an excellent answer to an off the wall question; Kamala just gets better.
Could you imagine Trump or Pence coming out with such a humorous answer?
Was she speaking to a crowd, trying to get them riled up to prevent a Constitutionally required process? Did she encourage, over the course of months the focus on violence to prevent some governmental action?
How do you know she was talking about Trump?

I see politicians sometimes saying things that don't call for
violence, but can have that effect. Harris is guilty of that too.

She should've just said no comment. There's no way to answer that question, even in jest, without upsetting someone.

Fair enough. Many better choices could have been made which I thought were obvious to anyone with an IQ above 70, but Trump chose otherwise.
