Why must there be an afterlife? Because it is comforting? Do you have any support? If you have any lean to an afterlife....the scheme presented will be there.

So you base God's existence entirely on faith then? His existence doesn't depend on me....or you.
As Creator....His existence will remain a mystery to us.
We can ask Him about it when we get there.
So you agree with me?If you have any lean to an afterlife....the scheme presented will be there.
So long as he chooses to remain a mystery, science will continue to not give a flying fart in space about your god, or any of the other gods which exist in the minds of men. In fact, science probably cares more about farting in space than about your, or anyone's, god(s).His existence doesn't depend on me....or you.

Have you seen the documentary Flight from Death: The Quest for Immortality? It's pretty good, and you can watch online for free. Why must there be an afterlife? Because it is comforting? Do you have any support?
I've seen recent science documentaries aimed.....at God.So long as he chooses to remain a mystery, science will continue to not give a flying fart in space about your god, or any of the other gods which exist in the minds of men. Congratulations.I've seen recent science documentaries aimed.....at God.
What does that mean? You know sometimes when you reach into your magic bag-o'proselytizing-words you pull out a bunch that, when hurled at people as hard as you can, make no sense at all.maybe you could expand your circle of living....just a bit.
So, it is merely based on faith and comfort then. Why couldn't you just say that to begin with?7billion copies of a learning device ...and we all end up as dust?
Not one chance in billions that a few o us might survive the last breath?
not one?
Stick to your lack of belief.
If so....then ALL of life is a mystery with no resolve.....and no purpose.... and all are terminal.
To the grave you go as if never born.
I prefer to be a bit more optimistic.
No comfort.....and if you can't follow the scheme of thought.....too bad.So, it is merely based on faith and comfort then. Why couldn't you just say that to begin with?
Is this the "millions of people can't be wrong" fallacy?7billion copies of a learning device ...and we all end up as dust?
Not one chance in billions that a few of us might survive the last breath?
not one?
False. Science is solving many mysteries, no gods required.Stick to your lack of belief.

People without belief are plenty optimistic.I prefer to be a bit more optimistic.
You have as much responsibility for disseminating your thoughts in a cogent manner as we have for understanding them, probably more. Although it's much more self validating for you to think that more than one person asking you WTF you meant is just evidence that everyone else is stupid and you remain the only intellect in the conversation. No comfort.....and if you can't follow the scheme of thought.....too bad.
Maybe you don't know what the word "comfort" means, but this is a clear example of it:No comfort.....and if you can't follow the scheme of thought.....too bad.
Your "scheme of thought" is based entirely on faith, not reason. I do get it. I just find it weird that you didn't just express this from the outset. No comfort.....and if you can't follow the scheme of thought.....too bad.
Right. So, you base your belief in an afterlife on the comfort it brings you that this life isn't all there is. But, that doesn't support your argument at all. It just explains the reason why you like to believe that an afterlife exists. Faith in the interest of comfort. It's one way or the other....
You will continue after your last breath, moving on to a spiritual life.....or...
you will follow your body into the box and then into the grave.
Why be so shallow?
One is a deeply held wish, the other I can prove. It's one way or the other....

You can't win this by asserting your beliefs over mine.Right. So, you base your belief in an afterlife on the comfort it brings you that this life isn't all there is. But, that doesn't support your argument at all. It just explains the reason why you like to believe that an afterlife exists. Faith in the interest of comfort.
Also, what does this mean? How am I being shallow?
"Why be so shallow?"
I lean to the greater 'likelihood' when I reason. One is a deeply held wish, the other I can prove.![]()
